Hello and thanks so much for joining me for 5 minutes of presence Whether you're taking a break out of your busy day,
Perhaps you're beginning your day or you're ending the day Whatever it is,
Choosing to welcome yourself here and now And you might choose to be sitting or laying down for this practice And take the next moment or so to get comfortable Settling and grounding into this space,
Into this moment And to ground us,
Let's begin to bring our awareness to the breath Noticing the rise and fall of the belly The inward motion of air through the nostrils And the exhalation long and sinking into this rhythm of breathing And as you breathe,
If any thoughts begin to arise of the past or the future Simply observing them and then letting them drift away And returning your awareness back to the breath Back to the inhalation and the exhalation And taking the seat of the observer Noticing the sounds of the space Noticing the sensations of the body Any aromas that enter into the nose And allowing yourself to just be here in this moment Nowhere to be but here Breathing in through the nose And knowing that you can carry this sense of presence with you Each and every moment Using the anchor of the breath Of sound or sensation May you be safe May you be peaceful,
Joyful and present May you be one with all that surrounds you And all that's within you
