Welcome to this transformational meditation that is inspired by the ancient Hawaiian practice of Ho'oponopono.
So let's begin.
Start by finding a nice,
Cozy,
Comfortable position,
And I find lying down can be really great for this.
Then just take a few moments to really relax and let go.
Softening your forehead.
Gently closing your eyes if that feels good for you.
Relaxing your jaw.
Letting your shoulders sink down into the ground.
And feeling that wave of relaxation roll all the way down from your shoulders,
Down through the back,
The belly,
Thighs,
All the way down to the tips of your toes.
Your whole body is relaxed.
Now I invite you to think of someone in your life who you absolutely love and adore.
Someone who's been there for you,
Someone you are just so lucky to have in your life,
Be it a friend,
Be it a lover,
Be it a family member.
Just allow that person to gently form in your mind's eye now.
And then gently repeat these words,
Either silently or out loud,
Whatever feels best for you.
I'm sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
I love you.
Let these words flow from your heart to theirs.
As you slowly take a deep breath in.
And exhale out your mouth to let this visualization go.
As I invite you to gently bring to mind someone who you've had more of a challenging relationship with.
You could have had troubles in the past.
Choose a person and gently allow their image to form in your mind.
As you turn to them and say,
I'm sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
I love you.
And those words can be challenging to say.
So if you weren't able to repeat them,
That's perfectly fine.
Or if emotion has bubbled up,
That's okay too.
Just take a slow deep breath in.
And exhale out of your mouth to release the visualization.
As I invite you to gently bring yourself to mind.
You can do this by imagining looking at yourself in a mirror.
Notice your features.
Look into your own eyes.
As you repeat,
I'm sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
I love you.
Notice any emotions that came up as you repeated those words.
See if you can turn towards the feelings rather than away from them.
What are they trying to tell you?
As you take a slow deep breath in.
And exhale out of your mouth to release the visualization.
As we move into the final part of this meditation,
This will be a freestyle section.
So I'm going to give you two minutes.
And you can just gently bring different people to mind.
Friends or family.
People from the past.
Or you can choose to work on someone that you brought up earlier in the meditation.
If you feel like you want to go deeper into that.
The words are,
I'm sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
I love you.
I'll let you know when it's time to come out.
As you finish your last round of repetitions now.
And take a nice slow deep breath in through your nose.
And exhale out of your mouth.
Beginning to bring yourself back to the room you're in.
Noticing the temperature of the air against your skin.
Bringing a little movement back to your body.
And just take a moment to thank yourself for showing up,
For doing the work,
Even though it's not always easy.
And choosing to carry some of this energy with you throughout the rest of your day.
Thank you so much for listening.
Have a beautiful day.
