Welcome to this guided alkaline breath work session.
So we're going to be breathing in through the mouth and out through the mouth.
I invite you to really draw the breath deep down into your belly and allow the exhales to be a full release,
So really let go of the breath.
It's quite intense,
So stay with me and just follow the sound of my breath.
So lie down or sit down,
Get comfortable.
Ready?
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
In through the mouth.
Out through the mouth.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
Keep going,
Drawing the breath deep down to the belly.
On the exhale,
Release,
Let it go.
See how much breath you can draw into your body.
And on the exhale,
Really let it go.
Give it everything you've got.
Almost done.
Fully in.
Fully out.
Last one here.
And exhale all the breath out of your body.
And hold the breath.
Completely relax.
And just rest in this breathless state.
Last five seconds here.
And take a deep inhale through your mouth.
And hold your breath.
Push your belly out,
Let it inflate like a balloon.
And resting here.
And slowly with controlled breath,
Exhale through your mouth.
And just come back to your natural breath.
That was round one.
Get ready for round two.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
In through the mouth.
Out through the mouth.
Give it everything you've got.
Drawing the breath into the belly.
Breathe.
Last few here.
Deep breath in.
And exhale all the breath out of your body.
Hold your breath.
Completely relax.
Soften your jaw and your fingers and your toes.
Rest here.
And take a slow deep breath in.
And hold.
Push your belly out.
Relax.
And with a controlled breath,
Slowly exhale all the breath out of your body.
Come back to your natural breathing.
And just notice how you feel.
Last round here.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
In through the mouth.
Out through the mouth.
Really go for it this round.
See if you can draw even more breath into your body.
Breathe deep.
Last two breaths here.
Inhale fully.
And exhale all the breath out of your body.
Inhale to your breath.
And relax.
And take a deep breath in.
And hold.
Very slowly with control,
Exhale the breath.
And just come back to your natural breathing.
Taking a moment here to rest and feel.
It's okay if your hands are tingling.
It will pass.
Just notice any other sensations in the body.
Take as long as you need here.
But if you feel ready,
Start to wiggle your fingers and toes.
Just bring yourself back to the space that you are in.
And welcome back.
Thank you so much for breathing with me.
I'd love to hear your experience in the comments below.
It can be pretty powerful.
So take it easy,
Take your time,
Have a glass of water,
Bring yourself back.
And have an amazing day.
