So we're starting out this luminous love practice,
Either sitting up or lying down.
We're using a three-part connected wave breath,
Getting comfortable and really staying in a space of relaxed surrender,
Placing one hand on the belly and the other hand on the heart.
And as you breathe in,
You're feeling the belly expand,
So your bottom hand rises first and then the second hand on the heart rises with the breath.
The third part is the gentle exhale,
Letting it out.
You're feeling this connection,
No pause in between the bottom and the top of the breath,
Just rolling the breath through the body like a deep undulation that moves you from within,
Feeling this gentle yet full wave of pranic force flowing through your body and just relaxing the muscles,
The spine into the earth,
Feeling the weight of the body and the lightness of the breath.
And even allowing a little sound to come out,
A little relief on movement,
Anything you need to just feel really comfortable for your journey,
Keeping the breath going in a continuous flow.
Moving it,
Charging the body,
Starting to activate the breath,
Letting it be luscious and deep,
Allowing the breath to really shift you out of the mind into the body.
Full breaths,
Full breaths,
Take in as much oxygen,
Air,
Life force as you can and then gently allowing it to trickle out.
Allow the focus,
The energy of the mind to absolve into the sensations of the body.
Feel the tingling,
The lightness,
The activation,
The heat,
Allowing that shift of perspective,
Of consciousness to happen,
Allowing the shift to work on you.
Keep riding the breath.
Keep charging,
Keep moving it.
Notice the safety of this space,
The safety of your body.
Running to the space that it's creating inside,
Letting the diaphragm get massaged from within.
Relax into this experience.
Notice the body can hold you here.
Let it do what it's meant to do.
Breathing out the breath now,
Connecting from a three-part breath to a two-part wave.
Moving on a cadence that works for you.
Allowing the body to awaken,
Enliven.
Enjoying the journey.
Release anything that you're holding now.
Find the sound,
The breath,
Movement.
Space to release.
Let it just lift off the body.
And on your next exhale,
Hold the breath out.
Hold it out for as long as you can.
Suspend the breath completely empty.
Come to a zero point.
And if your body wants to react and grasp for breath,
Just let it know it's safe.
Can stay.
Just naturally,
When you're ready to take the breath in,
Allow for the fullest,
Slowest,
Most soothing breath to fill your being.
Fully and completely coming to the absolute top of an inhale.
Slowly fall and hold there.
Hold it as long as you can.
Attune to the sensation of holding.
Come to neutral.
When you're ready to release it,
Release it with control slowly.
Let that energy of release shower over you like streams from your third eye.
Starting to sense the body from a place of curiosity.
We become the witness.
Noticing the head,
The energy of the mind.
Allow your awareness to swim around like a pearl of white light.
Feeling into the backs of the eyes.
Swirling into the depth of the face,
The jaw.
Feeling the tongue in the inside of the mouth.
Into the neck,
The throat,
The occiput.
Just noticing the quality of sensation that's there.
Is there a texture,
A color,
Maybe a sound?
Letting this light shine through the upper chest,
Through your clavicle,
Your arms.
Seeing the blood pumping through the tingling sensation,
The energy in your hands.
Allowing that awareness to wrap like an intricate web of crystalline energy around your heart center,
Your physical heart space,
Your energetic heart space.
Allow it to really hold and levitate with the heart,
Carry the heart as you tune into your field here.
So much that the heart carries and holds so much wisdom,
So much wounding.
Feel into what is present there in this moment.
The physical sensation,
The communication of the body.
Feeling the lungs as though they were the wings of the heart.
Seeing the breath travel through the lungs,
Does it feel like a light wind?
Maybe a chaotic storm or a clubbed byway?
Does it feel like a sunny day?
Maybe it's freezing cold or anywhere in between.
Honoring the heart as we bring the awareness down the body,
Down the solar plexus,
The mid-back,
Letting that light shoot up and down the spine.
Streaming your awareness vertebrae by vertebrae.
Seeing the sensation looking into the archives of information that the spine holds like a library of intelligence.
Seeking for those sensations to reveal themselves to you.
As though with the light of our awareness,
They become like a blossoming rose from a bud to a full flower.
More and more is revealed the more attention we bring to them.
Allowing your attention to rest in your lower torso now,
Low back,
The womb space or your energetic womb,
Sex organs,
Small intestines,
The pelvic basin.
Just observing here.
Maybe there's a sensation as expressed as movement.
Just feeling curious about the flavor,
The feeling,
The quality it brings.
We observe every last inch of your cell of your being,
Letting that calm down,
Trickle down,
Splitting like a river at the legs.
Moving down the thighs with your awareness,
The kneecaps,
Our knees,
Our ability to move forward or connection to the grandmothers,
The grandfathers.
Feeling into the calves,
Into the soles of the feet.
Notice if there is energy that is quick moving or slow,
Cool,
Achy,
Tender.
Really trusting this subtle celestial communication,
Slowing down enough to actually know and feel the intelligence that is held within this body temple.
Noticing where you feel alive and noticing where you may feel numb with the same level of positive regard.
This is a non-judgmental exploration,
Direct contact with the experience of the now within your body.
Then we move into feeling the body as a whole,
Feeling the whole body at once as one.
Noticing yourself from the top to the bottom,
Noticing where you had the most energy,
Noticing where there was the least.
Just seeing if you can tune into any sensation that had some energy to it,
That was out of your mind.
Asking,
Maybe calling,
Even begging you to spend a few more moments seeing,
Leaning into this place.
When the next few breaths lean in,
A lasered-like focus on this sensation,
Even if it's really subtle,
Even if it's uncomfortable or painful.
Breathing into it like you were massaging it from the outside.
Noticing if it has information for you,
Something more to say or show you.
And really connecting your heart energy now,
Streaming it down to this other sensation in the body.
Noticing your beautiful heart field to this other part.
You breathe a connecting light between one and the other,
Sharing the energy of the heart,
Wrapping this other sensation in that heart energy as though you were wrapping a crying child,
Surrounding it,
Just letting it be,
Letting it be held.
And simply allowing your awareness to be present fully here.
Let it be revealed.
And then simply allowing your awareness to float back to your body as a whole,
Awareness of your body and your space and the sacred space into your auric field,
Guiding yourself back into your physical space,
The one that you are in.
Taking a few deep long breaths,
Feeling the tips of your fingers,
Your toes,
A little movement there,
A little wiggle,
A little stretch,
Finding a gentle breath that allows you to reenter the space easy,
Nonreactive to the shift.
Take a moment here to re-acclimatize,
Honor what you felt,
Honor your courage to feel,
Even if it was subtle.
