Hi and good morning,

I'm Asa.

Before the busyness of your workday begins,

Take a moment to ground yourself,

Reconnect with your inner peace,

And set a clear intention for the day ahead.

Take a deep breath in and sigh it out.

Get comfortable in your seat and allow your body to relax a bit.

Close your eyes and take another deep,

Calming breath in and let it go slowly,

Releasing any lingering tension in your body,

Especially in your jaw,

Neck,

And shoulders.

Bring your awareness to your breath.

Notice its steady rhythm.

Next,

We'll practice a simple breathing exercise called Box Breathing,

Which is known for improving performance,

Sharpening concentration,

And reducing stress.

It involves breathing in for a count of four,

Pausing for a count of four,

Exhaling for a count of four,

And pausing again for a count of four.

We'll do four rounds total.

Wherever you're at,

Go ahead and exhale.

And then inhale,

Release the control over your breath and allow your breath to return to its natural rhythm.
