There is no need to make any changes to the breath.
Simply notice,
Breathe,
Observe,
Inhale,
Exhale.
Trust the breath.
With each exhale,
The inhale will come.
Settle the body.
Trust.
When the exhale is not followed by an inhale,
It's okay.
You are safe.
If you feel a sense of unsettledness with the idea that the breath will cease,
Stay with these feelings and breathe.
Breathe into the unsettledness.
Notice the breath,
The body,
And the mind becoming more and more settled.
Smile at the breath.
Imagine the breath smiling back at you.
