Take a brief moment to ground through the feet to connect back to the present. We notice the sensations, temperature and contact points of the feet as we anchor through them into the surface and earth beneath.

We're going to do a grounding technique here and so we're going to feel into the feet on the ground and so taking a seated position however wherever you are and you could be laying down for this too if you like.

So feeling into the feet wherever you are and wherever your feet are I'm starting to notice contact points that the feet have with a surface beneath perhaps a sock or a surface on top of them maybe a shoe and as you just breathe and notice the feet here placing your full attention and awareness at the feet if they are making contact with the floor beneath you starting to ground in through the feet making connection with the floor rooting here and imagining if our feet aren't on the floor we can imagine here this rooting through the feet down into the earth and traveling deep deep down into the earth here the roots from the feet traveling in anchoring in and fully here at the feet here we notice the feet even further with temperature noticing if there's coolness or warmth any temperature at all here and we'll notice the different parts of the foot here so feeling into the toes and as we move through the feet we notice the tops of the feet and the arches of our feet can we really feel into and notice the arches of our feet this under part of our feet here feeling into and noticing the heel and the ankles of our feet really taking this moment to ground in through the feet breathing here and at any given time we can come back to the feet placing our attention fully here to help bring us back into this moment back into our body to ground and anytime we notice the mind is coming up with stories or pulling our attention away we can come back into grounding through the feet and noticing different aspects and feelings through the feet here
