Hello and welcome to our community meditation space.
My name is Vivian Girard and it is my delight to be guiding us in a meditation for the new moon in Capricorn.
This new moon is special.
It is two days before the new year begins on December 30th of 2024 and I believe there will be quite a bit of energy moving as we sit in this meditation time because we are right at the threshold of one year ending and a new one beginning and we are setting intentions in this portal of time and magic.
So allow yourself to settle in for whatever the experience is going to be to put all expectations to the side and simply allow yourself to be fully present here.
Your soul will guide you through the exact experience that most serves and it may not be what your mind expects or understands and so the more you can settle and unwind and allow the more magical this will be for you.
All right I also use breath very consciously in my meditation space and so when I yawn it's an invitation for you to yawn along with me and move energy through releasing of breath.
I breathe loudly in these meditations also as a way to help guide you to soothe your body to release something that may be stagnant or stuck inside of your space.
Okay let us begin.
Go ahead and close your eyes if you haven't already and notice where you have chosen to be for this exact experience.
So feel yourself in your surroundings.
I am sitting on the floor snuggled under lots of blankets my back against the wall and there's so much spaciousness around me it's quiet it's calm.
If your environment doesn't feel that way perhaps adjust what you need to so that you can really feel like you're in a cocoon.
You're being held in an energy space with a physical comfortable environment around you that offers no distraction.
It is simply a portal that you are choosing to step into physically and energetically and then feel what's happening inside of your body as you call your attention into you.
Calling all of the energy the power the consciousness that is you in the places and the activities that you experience every day.
Calling all of you back to this moment.
You can imagine there's a magnet or a central pulling force at the core of your body that just invites all of you to come back into you here in this moment.
The more you focus on that feeling of filling up inside the more your energy is magnetized into you.
As you feel your awareness coming into your body you can guide it all the way down through to your feet.
Feeling your feet firmly planted here on this planet you chose a body with such deliberate conscious choice.
There was a reason that your body was going to choose the places that you would be in the people you would communicate with the experiences that you would have in this human lifetime.
All of it is with intention with purpose and when we allow ourselves to come fully into a moment this moment of presence and we bring all of our attention here our body becomes filled up with that awareness filled up with our attention our greater understanding of what's happening right now what's alive inside of us and around us.
So call more of you down into your body and start filling yourself up from your feet all the way up through your legs you filling up you into the core of your trunk of your body.
Relax your muscles as you do that and allow it to be an easy arrival your soul landing in your body your mind witnessing watching the process guiding your body to relax and then feeling what's happening in your body as you fill yourself up with you.
You might feel that you are just bigger or more inside of yourself.
You might feel yourself in a new way a sense of heaviness or full is the word I keep getting it's like inside of our body we're here.
We're not outside watching we're in the body feeling experiencing and then keep calling more of you into this moment relaxing your muscles and notice how your system calms quiets soothes as you come home into you.
Even the word home feel the beauty of that energy that invitation there you go good work.
When we come home the soul landing in the body there's a sweetness to it peacefulness and we start to remember there's actually nowhere else more important to be than here the soul fully aware inside of the body at ease with the mind.
If you don't feel at ease perhaps invite your mind to get a notebook a pen and paper and just start writing down the things that it wants you to remember to become aware of to understand to change whatever your mind wants you to not forget imagine you can just give it a notebook and a pen and it can just start writing it all down and when your mind has a task an invitation to be included in your meditation time it can become a resource for you.
So allow your mind to take some notes about what is happening inside of your body and then bring your focus into your body.
How does it feel today?
We are in a busy holiday season there's often a lot of activity and events things that we either feel great that we're doing or perhaps guilty or disappointed that we're not doing.
There's a lot of emotion that can be stirred we're perhaps around more people than normal or family members we don't see as often and memories get stirred past pattern cycles get kicked back up again sometimes our habits are activated.
Instead of judging any of it what if you can simply feel and be aware of any of that happening inside of you.
The word turbulence just came into my my mind it can feel turbulent in the holidays and this holiday is ending with a new moon at the end of a year which can also perhaps feel a little conflicting.
It feels like a time of completions but here we are focusing on intentions and beginnings.
It's one cycle that is shifting into another cycle and they are connected.
There are always threads that are weaving from the past into this present moment to guide the future and sometimes we get caught up in the patterns the awarenesses the lessons of the past without an integration or releasing to launch us into the new.
So I bring in a little astrology for our minds to help us ease what is happening in our bodies.
This new moon is in Capricorn.
Capricorn is about being practical,
Being committed,
Having structure,
Putting in place the resources,
The tools that are going to help us succeed.
At the same time that we have a new moon in Capricorn,
Pluto is in Aquarius.
This is a sign of transformation of change,
The beginning of a new 20-year cycle and it just shifted a month ago.
So there is a newness to this energy of transformation,
A beginning of something that has birthed from the 16 years where Pluto was in Capricorn.
On December 30th,
Chiron goes direct in Aries.
Aries is the beginning of the zodiac cycle,
A sign of fire,
Action,
Doing and Chiron is our wound.
It's the pattern,
The part of us that our lifetime often is spent transcending,
Understanding so that we can create a gift from that wound.
Chiron going direct is guiding our intentions.
It's not a time to set random intentions that don't actually fit or align with the purpose of our lives.
So let your mind write all of that down and feel what happens in your body as those words,
Those energies come together into this moment of awareness.
Here you are present in your body,
Feeling whatever the feelings are that come up,
Not avoiding or running from them,
Simply sitting with what is happening inside of you.
And we add in these astrological resources,
These energetic frequencies that are intended always to help us,
To support us as a humanity,
To guide us in alignment,
In harmony with the universe.
So bring all of your focus all the way down through to your feet and then feel your connection from your feet deep into the earth.
Allow yourself to be fully supported by our planet in this moment,
By the consciousness of earth,
Of Gaia.
When your feet connect in deeply in with the energy of this planet,
You are held and supported,
Strengthened as new awareness moves inside of you.
So I imagine you can grow roots from the bottoms of your feet that go way down deep,
Deep,
Deep into the earth underneath your body.
And as those roots are growing,
They are deepening,
There can be an awareness inside of your body.
You may feel energy really starting to move right now.
There can be an awareness inside of your body of anything you're ready to let go.
You don't even need to understand or know what it is.
Your body intuitively can release what is ready to let go all the way down to your feet and into the roots that go way down into the earth.
These can be emotions,
Regrets,
Guilt,
Obligation,
A sense of failure if you didn't do the things in 2024 that you thought you would.
If you have felt stuck or caught in the grip of so much moving in our lives,
It's been a big year of change.
Anything that doesn't serve,
Your mind can track it or your mind can simply write a note to let it go.
And then your body chooses to release that energy all the way down through to your feet through the roots into the earth.
And then you relax the muscles of your body,
Lean back and feel the support behind you.
And then take a moment just to be,
Just to recalibrate and then set the same invitation again.
Anything in your system,
Your awareness,
Your body that feels complete,
That you know no longer serves you to hold on to.
Whatever the emotions are,
The beliefs are,
The stories,
You can see them all flashing in your mind or you can simply have a feeling that they're ready to go.
You send that energy all the way down through to your feet and release through the roots into the earth.
You can do this as often as you need to and what you may find is it gets calmer and easier the more times you do it.
The first deep breaths or yawns or exhales where you release into the earth may have more emphasis,
More power,
More movement.
And then as you center yourself,
Steady yourself and then do it again,
It may be just a simple drip,
Drip,
Drip of energy down through your roots into the earth and your body feels calm and in the same vibration that it was before in a good way.
You'll know when you just feel complete,
There's nothing more to release.
And then from that space,
Feel what it feels like inside of your body,
How much calmer your system is.
You may find that your other senses are heightened.
So when I've released and rinsed often the just did here with us,
I'll find that my ears have a ringing or a buzzing.
It's like the energy field around me is more charged,
More activated.
The frequency is higher and so my ears will feel that buzz.
I always take that as a good sign.
The energy is clearer,
Purer.
I can hear more.
I am more attuned to the field around me,
Not so much the density,
The stuckness that was inside.
So notice how your body feels.
Relax your muscles.
Feel your feet still firmly planted here in this moment,
Here on this planet.
And then center yourself.
So allow your body to straighten,
Perhaps turn your head,
Your body forward so that you can feel if you were to open your eyes.
You don't need to,
But if you were to open your eyes,
You would be looking straight forward with your eyes closed and your feet planted firmly on the floor.
I want you to imagine that you can put 2024,
The calendar,
Behind you.
Not hanging on your shoulders,
Attached to you,
But just firmly placed behind you.
The year is completing.
There's one day left,
So perhaps you can keep December 31st by your side for right now.
There may be more work for you to do.
You may want to come back into a meditation space,
Turn around,
Look at 2024,
Do a review.
Or you may feel in this moment,
Here we are,
Focusing on a new moon,
Intentions,
New beginnings.
I'm going to sit myself here in this visualization with 2024 behind me.
And I'm going to open up a new space for you.
A new whiteboard,
A new calendar year,
Whatever images show up for you.
2025 is in front.
And imagine you can ground the energy of 2025.
You can see the calendar or the whiteboard or the movie screen,
Whatever way you like to visualize.
You can see that time grounded with a root,
Just like your feet are into the earth.
You can ground 2025 down into the earth.
Bring it closer.
Bring it into 3D reality in your meditation space.
And as you look at this calendar of time,
From your vantage point here at the end of 2024 with new moon energy all around,
Capricorn structure,
Chiron going direct.
Imagine you can see or sense a color or a feeling,
A vibration around the entire year,
An aura.
What aura do you intend for your year?
Some people choose words.
I like colors.
I also like sounds.
So perhaps there's a frequency or a tone or a song that you immediately become aware of.
You're like,
Oh,
This,
This is the frequency,
The musical sound aura for 2025.
Allow yourself to be surprised.
This is where the soul comes in.
The energy,
The consciousness flows into our awareness.
And we can feel or sense larger,
More comprehensive with a bigger context than what our mind can usually show us.
So what colors,
What sounds,
What images do you see when you're looking at it as the whole year?
And then lean back with the support behind you.
You have a whole year of time in front of you.
Here you sit at the end of the year,
Looking at the new year.
What intentions,
What desires,
What dreams do you want to send forward into this year?
Allow your soul to just dance,
Speak,
Show you,
Draw.
Maybe it's a feeling.
The feeling I have is spaciousness.
No need to rush,
Which as we know,
Takes conscious awareness because the speed of our world,
Of humanity,
Of reality seems to be speeding up.
So perhaps an intention of spaciousness and calm and peacefulness is a big intention.
My cat arrived and she's purring on our lap.
So sweet.
Maybe your intention is more love,
More connection,
A deeper experience of being human in a world that seems to be less human.
Allow yourself this quiet space to feel into your intentions.
Your mind may be very busy writing down a whole bunch of words and thoughts and there's a lot happening.
Or you may simply be sitting in this vibration with me.
Feeling Jade sitting on your lap also purring.
Time and space dissolving as we're simply being together.
That is a beautiful intention for the new year.
Dissolving time and space and connecting heart to heart,
Soul to soul in apps,
In meditations on apps where technology becomes a resource for us.
Just like our mind is a resource,
Technology can connect us.
It can help us dissolve time and space.
And whatever awarenesses you are having,
Allow your soul to show you.
There's a reason you landed in this meditation at this time as the year ends and the new one begins.
There is something that your consciousness wants you to be aware of.
Maybe it's simply that this is a very powerful threshold.
This is a moment for big choices,
Conscious choices.
It is a time to be very intentional and to guide our energy,
Our focus,
In ways that we choose,
Not ways that are dictated to us or so powerful in the collective energy field that we just get carried in the current.
It is a time for individual awareness and action that serves the best of the collective,
The highest frequency of the collective.
That would be Pluto in Aquarius.
So what did your soul bring you to this meditation to receive?
Allow yourself to receive it.
And if it's a feeling,
Allow yourself to be aware of the feeling.
The vibration,
The frequency that you are experiencing right now is one that you can set as a baseline for your system.
This feeling of wholeness,
Of calm,
Of presence,
Of clarity,
Focus for your attention.
It can be your normal.
And it comes from the awareness that you have this feeling,
The awareness that you created this moment.
There's a pathway that brought you to this experience of this feeling.
And you can repeat that pathway.
You can come back to this baseline feeling as often as you need to.
From this feeling,
What can be created?
Let me say that again.
From this baseline feeling,
This homeostasis,
Is that the word?
What can be created by you or through you?
It may be more of this feeling,
Sharing this feeling,
Creating content from this feeling,
Bringing healing to other people,
Making a beautiful meal,
Writing a letter.
This is the merging of the new moon with Chiron going direct.
From this beauty of meditation,
How do we flow that into alignment with our purpose in this life?
For many,
I believe our purpose is to create,
To create beauty,
To create magic,
To create connection.
It's to create.
And so allow your soul to show you just one way that you can move from this experience into creation.
And then allow that to guide you.
This is where your mind can get busy taking notes of the things you need to do when you're done with your meditation.
Okay,
Releasing any last energy that needs to move down through your feet and into the earth.
Bringing your focus all the way up through your body to your heart space.
Leaning back and feeling the support behind you,
Which opens your shoulder blades a little wider and allows your heart to be bigger,
To magnetize,
To share this frequency more easily.
And as you feel ready,
Go ahead and open your eyes and just focus on one thing in front of you.
So I'm looking at this sweet,
Sweet little black cat sitting on my lap.
I'm rubbing her back and her tail is moving around because she's so happy and she's lifting her head up to get her head scratched.

As you take in more of the information in the room around you,
Allow the inner and the outer landscape to merge what happens in your meditation space,
What you feel,
What you experience is just as real,
Just as true as what you see when you open your eyes and they co-exist.
So allow yourself to move from this meditation with full awareness of what you experienced and the guidance that your soul showed you and create,
Take your intentions and bring them into form,
Into reality.
