Hello and welcome to our community meditation space.
My name is Viviane Girard and it is my delight to be guiding us in a meditation for the new moon in Aries.
As we arrive,
I invite you to picture yourself walking into our virtual living room,
Finding your seat,
And settling down into our circle time as we turn towards astrology as a lens through which to better understand our human journey.
Let us begin.
With your eyes closed,
Take some time to bring yourself fully into this present moment.
An easy way to do that is to focus on your breath,
To slow down your breathing,
To stretch out your breathing,
And to find an easy flow of inhale and exhale that is perhaps a little bit slower than when you first arrived.
We are in a loud,
Busy world and choosing to be still is often an adjustment for our physical body,
For our mind,
For our heart.
So the entry into meditation,
It's like walking through a door and taking your jacket off and taking your shoes off,
Finding a seat,
Perhaps grabbing some water.
Meditation is the same way.
We close our eyes and we begin to tune in to what is happening inside of ourselves.
Breath is one way to do that.
Another is to visualize your feet and to start calling all of your energy,
Your awareness down through your body to your feet.
When you picture your feet and perhaps even wiggle them,
Settle yourself more firmly into the space that you are sitting in,
You start to bring more attention to your physical body,
Perhaps noticing things that are happening inside of your body that you didn't realize before.
Your stomach may growl and tell you you're hungry.
You may start yawning as energy moves through your body.
You may notice a tightness or a contraction,
An ache that you didn't realize was happening.
You also may notice how hunched over or curled in upon yourself you are because the world is so loud.
What if in this moment you can start to relax your muscles,
Open your shoulder blades,
Stretch your body wider and taller,
Longer,
And take up more space within you,
Around you.
When you give that message to your body to relax,
To unwind,
To open up,
You also expand your energy space around your body.
When the world is loud,
We tend to get smaller.
When it's intense,
We can sometimes want to hide.
And this new moon in Aries is saying,
Open up,
Expand your space,
Become more of you.
And so we practice that here in meditation.
What happens when you stretch out a little wider?
You may notice that you can feel the edges of your space and perhaps some boundaries are showing up,
Or perhaps it feels too open,
A little unknown,
A little scary.
Bring your attention down to your feet and feel your feet firmly planted here on this planet.
This is your body living your life's story.
And in meditation time,
We can come in and reassess,
Evaluate in this moment,
How is that journey going?
When we bring our focus to our feet,
We ground that awareness,
That insight.
It's not a thought that just floats out.
It's an embodied,
Experienced knowing of how things are going.
So focusing on your feet,
Relaxing your muscles.
How is it going today,
This moment as you're meditating?
How is your human journey going?
Allow yourself to feel it so it's not a question for the mind,
Although your mind probably dropped in all kinds of evaluations immediately.
It's a feeling inside of your human form.
How does it feel,
You being you living this life?
This is Aries energy,
You.
It's all about you right now.
And notice your body's reactions.
If you tighten,
If you start to close in again,
If you feel the desire to hide and be small,
Notice that.
What is that showing you?
Not as a judgment or a call to action,
Just as an awareness.
Meditation invites us to be aware,
To be present,
To feel.
If you notice that you relaxed and everything became more spacious,
Wider,
Calmer,
That's a beautiful sign that you are really in a place of tranquility and ease in your journey.
That you're enjoying the ride of being human.
There's no right or wrong.
And in every moment on the timeline,
We can have a completely different feeling experience in our body.
The beauty of meditation is that we can check in.
We can bring our awareness all the way in like this and have a moment of assessment with ourselves.
So bring more of you into you.
Call even more of your energy,
Your consciousness,
Your awareness,
From anywhere it may be outside of you.
Call it back to you and guide your energy all the way down through your body to your feet.
Feeling yourself even more planted here,
Even more present in this moment.
Use your breath to stretch out the space if it starts to feel tight or more contracted inside.
Allow yourself to be comfortable being fully present inside of your body as comfortable as possible.
Relaxing your muscles and noticing what happens each time you call more of you home to you.
Down through your body to your feet.
What do you notice inside of your body?
If you are starting to lean forward,
Hunch over because you're more present,
Focus on expanding the space in your heart as you stretch open your shoulder blades and straighten your spine.
Even as you bring your energy down to your feet,
Can you also keep your shoulders open,
Your back straight,
And your heart present?
It's such a process to be human.
There's so much to manage.
And we do one thing and then this other ripple repercussion happens in another area.
It's so true.
So relax your muscles,
Allow yourself to be fully present,
Grounded all the way down to your feet.
And we're going to connect in with the earth next and then come back up.
To our heart space and do some heart work.
But first imagine from the bottoms of your feet that you can grow roots,
Deep,
Wide roots that weave and wind far down into the earth underneath your body,
Wherever you are in this moment.
As the roots from your feet start moving under the surface of the earth,
You may notice that there are other roots underneath the same dirt.
The roots from the trees around your neighborhood.
The roots from the trees all around our planet.
There is a grid of energy,
A whole world that happens underneath the surface of the earth.
It is a space of creation,
Movement,
Expansion,
Energetically and physically.
And when we remember in our human journey to tap in with that energy grid,
It is another way to strengthen our resources,
Our focus,
Our alignment in our individual human journey.
So as you send your roots deep and wide underneath the surface of the earth,
Imagine your roots can start pulling from your feet,
From your body,
Anything that is ready to be released.
We are at a powerful threshold moment with this new moon in Aries.
Aries is the beginning of the zodiac cycle.
We have a stellium in Aries,
Lots of planets.
All in the sign,
Adding an emphasis on action,
Beginning,
Movement.
Allowing our body to release what is no longer serving,
Clears space inside of our body for whatever we are going to step into next.
If we are carrying the toxicity,
The wounds,
The old stories with us into this new beginning,
It's going to feel like sludge or mud at the bottoms of our feet as we try to pick up and take those next steps.
So this moment is an opportunity to release.
And it's as simple as choosing to release any heavy energy,
Any outdated beliefs,
Any limitations that are no longer serving us.
You choose to send that heavy toxic energy down to your feet and visualize that moving through your feet,
Through the roots and down into that grid of energy underneath our bodies.
The beauty of handing what we call toxic energy over to the earth is that it is received as simply energy,
More creative force,
Power that can be redistributed underneath the surface of the earth to wherever it may serve more.
Relax your muscles.
It's not a forcing any of this to happen,
It's an allowing a flow of energy.
Your choice to allow lets that happen.
Notice the ease in your body when you stop forcing and simply flow the energy through your feet and into the earth.
So beautiful.
Allow that to continue in whatever ways most serve you.
And then bring your attention back to your feet.
And slowly,
With your feet firmly planted,
Your back straight,
Anything that still needs to release is just going to move at your feet and into the earth.
Bring your awareness slowly up through your body,
Not in a way that will give you a head rush,
But in a curious meandering through your body walk.
As you bring your awareness back to your feet,
From your feet up through your legs,
Be curious about how your legs are doing.
Are they strong,
Healthy?
Are they moving enough?
Resting enough?
Stretching?
Your legs move you around this planet,
Walk you into jobs,
Relationships,
Choices with your health.
Your legs guide you into nature and move you to your bed so you can sleep at night.
Are your legs being cared for?
Being honored for the powerful role that they play in your human journey?
As you bring your awareness up through your legs,
Perhaps bless the cells,
The muscles,
The bones,
The nerves,
The complex system in your body that allows you to live and enjoy this incredible journey of being human.
As you bring your awareness through your legs and up through the core of your body,
Your root,
Your stomach,
Up towards your heart,
Imagine you can do the same thing for the core of your body.
Bless the cells,
The nerves,
The blood,
The bones,
The complex systems of all the organs,
The skin that covers your body.
Allow yourself to marvel at the you that exists,
The human version of the soul that is living this extraordinary life.
Relax your muscles.
Allow your body to be fully honored as we make our way towards our heart space.
What an incredible system your mind,
Body,
Soul,
Heart is.
This new moon in Aries can emphasize the magic that is existence,
The I am,
I am here.
I am the energy moving in the physical.
I am the soul experiencing the human.
Notice what happens in your heart space as you feel the power of you,
The magical creation that is your existence.
It is the greatest gift to be alive at this time on our planet.
And as we bring our awareness into our heart space,
I invite you to enter your heart space with reverence,
Awe at your existence.
Feeling your feet so firmly planted on this planet,
Grounded,
Present.
This is an embodied experience of being in your heart space,
Not from the head.
You are in your heart,
Which is in your body.
It is all connected.
As you feel your heart space,
Allow yourself to feel the emotions,
Not from a mind,
But from a feeling inside,
Relaxing your muscles.
And there may be layers today as you enter your heart space.
There may be areas of energy that you are not aware of.
Different emotions.
They may be overlapping.
They may be all tangled up.
You may have them compartmentalized.
It's okay.
What if you could walk your heart space with a sense of curiosity?
All of the emotions come with very true,
Valid stories,
Experiences that have shown you why these emotions exist or why it is necessary to remember the emotions.
If we have been hurt before,
Then we would protect the heart.
So we would have a section where that tender,
Vulnerable,
Beautiful heart space is barricaded,
Hidden,
Protected from having that happen again.
If we have experienced loss,
Then there may be a big shadowy area of the heart that is deep,
Deep grief.
And we see it,
But it's in the corner.
We actually don't want to look at that or touch that because we're afraid it may overwhelm us,
Drown us,
Take over.
There may be another area that is shiny and bright and perhaps connected to the innocence of children or nature.
A beautiful memory that we have covered in brilliant light to make sure it never dims.
There may be a fiery,
Red,
Angry area that is outraged at the state of the world,
At the trauma we have experienced,
Others have experienced,
At time,
Health,
Jobs,
Our heart can hold a lot of anger.
And perhaps somewhere in there is a quiet place of stillness.
The one sacred space in our heart that is always true and quiet and present.
Waiting for us to return.
We may have connected that part of our heart with a person,
A grandmother,
An earth angel,
A teacher,
A friend,
A child,
A grandchild,
Our favorite tree.
When we enter our heart in an embodied,
Present way,
Allowing ourself to feel how much is happening,
How much is remembered,
Experienced in our heart,
It can sometimes be overwhelming.
In meditation,
In moments like this,
The power of the heart is so true,
So real,
So wise,
So powerful.
And when we are busy or we ignore the heart,
Or we touch it and then we turn away because it just feels like too much,
We are not able to fully experience all the beauty and magic of this life because we are turning away from our own power center.
When we ignore it or we cover it up,
Or we touch it and then we run the other direction,
We are turning away from ourselves,
From our wisdom,
From our own embodied experience of being human.
Relax your muscles.
What feels important to share at this moment in our meditation time and at this time on our planet with the new moon in Aries,
The stellium in Aries,
And a conjunction with Chiron,
Which is the wounded healer,
It is important to remind all of us of the power of our heart space,
Of the depth,
Of the wisdom,
Of the invitation always to alchemize the stories,
To alchemize the pain,
The wounds.
Perhaps it can happen in one meditation,
But I believe it takes patience,
Compassion,
Commitment,
And returning again and again to our own heart space,
To unravel the emotions,
To not be afraid of them,
But to be curious and explore,
To find the ones that we have completed the lesson in and release them,
Just like we did with the energy down through our bodies and into the earth,
To take the ones that we are still learning from and sit with the emotions,
Sit with the stories,
Look for the wisdom,
Have compassion for ourselves and for all of those in our memories,
In our stories,
Knowing we are all souls having human experiences and sometimes we are better at it than others.
Many times in our own wounds,
We wound others.
In our heart space,
We are able to sit with and then move through the layers.
Deepen into the places that need more space,
Perhaps need support from others around us,
Perhaps from professionals.
When we know that our heart space has these layers and stories and hidden areas,
And we are willing to look at them and be with them and walk through them,
We are able to change everything about our stories,
Everything about our life,
Because we claim our power,
We claim our experiences.
We work through them and honor them and release them.
When we get to the door of our heart and we turn away from it,
We miss the opportunity to do all of that healing,
To find the depth and the wisdom and the compassion and the love and the truth that is our heart space.
And often that's when we outsource our power to those around us.
We turn away from our heart.
And because we are afraid or overwhelmed,
We step into the same patterns,
The same types of situations and relationships that are hiding in our heart space that we haven't healed yet.
We recreate more.
So we relax our muscles in this moment.
Perhaps give ourselves a virtual hug for even being willing to sit at the heart space and take a look,
Open the door.
The beauty of being in a community meditation space like this is that when we turn our head in our visualization from the door of our own heart and we look around the community virtual living room that we stepped into,
We can see everyone else is doing the same.
We are all being brave,
Looking at our heart spaces side by side.
No one coming into your heart space,
You not going into anyone else's heart space,
But feeling,
Remembering that we do this work together,
That we're never actually alone in this human journey.
Our mind will tell us that we are.
Our physical reality may show us that there is no one here to look at.
To talk to.
But in meditation,
We dissolve time,
Space,
Physicality.
And we remember,
We reconnect through the heart space.
Side by side,
We remember that we are all souls having human journeys that we chose to have.
Coming into this physical body because we knew it would teach us,
Expand us as the infinite,
Give us context about something that we had only theorized as souls.
As you relax your muscles and remember that you are part of a community,
Of others who are being present with their heart space at this new moon in Aries,
Allow yourself to relax into that community experience,
To feel me sitting by your side,
Others around you also relaxing and remembering,
Knowing that this is a journey.
We are in a new moment.
All of the planets in Aries preparing us for another shift of an outer planet.
Next week,

Uranus is going to be about communication,
Speed,
Surprises.
Gemini,
About communication,
Duality,
How we navigate in a different way,
A different speed.
Being in our heart space,
In sacred communities that support us,
Allows us to communicate what we desire,
What we want to create,
What we see in the future.
We are going to be building a new world,
A new paradigm,
A new reality,
Supported by Pluto in Aquarius,
Which is a 20-year cycle we have just entered.
New forms of community that are based on individual expression,
Unique contributions to the whole.
We are waiting for you in your heart space,
Your beautiful,
Unique expression to join,
To create with others,
With us.
So,
As we start to bring our meditation time to a completion,
Allow yourself to relax your muscles again,
With your feet firmly planted on the ground.
Your body may be feeling a buzz of energy,
As all of that future information was transmitted,
Broadcast through the space.
Lean back,
Allow yourself to straighten your spine,
Open your shoulders,
And just gently open your heart space a tiny bit more.
Seeing yourself at the front of your heart space,
Looking around at our community gathering,
Knowing we all just did the same process.
We all looked at the same emotions,
Feelings,
Expressions in our heart spaces,
Through our own lenses,
Our own stories.
But we did it at the same energy space together.
Perhaps you can feel the smile that is moving across my face,
And probably across many others,
To know we are not alone.
And we are uniquely experiencing our individual human journey within the collective.
So,
Allow yourself to take up more space.
This is how we started the meditation,
It's how we will complete it.
Feet firmly planted on the ground,
Fully present in your body,
Allow yourself to expand your energy space around your physical body.
Take up more room,
Relaxing your muscles.
As you feel ready,
Open your eyes and just look at one thing in front of you.
So,
I'm holding a quartz and I'm rubbing my fingers over it.
Maybe start wiggling your toes,
Wiggling your fingers,
Feeling your heart space inside of you.
It may feel more expansive,
A little warmer,
Softer,
Than it was before you started this meditation.
And as you expand your view and look around the room,
The space where you are for your meditation,
Allow the circle image,
The community space that you saw in your mind's eye,
To merge with what you are seeing in your physical.
So,
You may see an empty room with your physical eyes,
But allow the energy of all of those others who were in the meditation with us to visualize in your imagination,
In your actual room,
To a lot of people.
It may feel very crowded.
Notice what that does to your heart space.
And allow yourself to remember what we see internally in meditation and what we see externally in our physical reality are connected.
Both are true.
There may be a time delay between some of the experiences,
But our external reality forms from what we see and design and create in our internal reality.
So,
Allow them to merge as you emerge from meditation.
Allow them to play and overlap.
And then let's share these experiences,
These moments together in our lives.
