Join me for a guided meditation at this first of two Full Moons in Capricorn (next one is July 21). We are also moving into Cancer season, inviting us to drop deeper into our own heart space. It is a beautiful time to be still and allow the astrology to guide us through this next portal. Let's begin!

Hello and welcome to our community meditation space.

My name is Vivian Girard and it is my delight to be guiding us in a meditation for the full moon in Capricorn for June of 2024.

This is the first of two full moons in Capricorn back-to-back.

The next one will be July 21st and this full moon is going to be happening as we enter the sign of cancer.

So there is a lot of beautiful astrological universal energy that is supporting us at this time.

I invite you to close your eyes and let us drop into meditation space together.

Okay,

Allow yourself to come fully into your body,

Into this moment,

Into this little pocket of time that you have claimed for yourself.

To be fully present,

Mind,

Body,

Soul,

Tuning in through the lens of astrology,

Through the cycle of the moon and how that impacts our experience of life here on earth.

In the body is the most powerful place to be.

When all of our attention,

All of our focus is sitting inside of this moment,

In our body,

Our power is at its greatest.

So invite all of your energy,

Your consciousness,

Your infinite soul to make its way into your body here and now.

What is helpful sometimes is to imagine you have a magnet at the core of the trunk of your body or maybe at your sit bones and you just start magnetizing you back to you.

When we do that,

It sometimes can feel dense or heavy inside of the body.

That's because the body is physical.

It's intended to feel dense.

When we fill ourselves up with our own energy,

Our own consciousness,

Our own awareness,

When we call more and more of ourselves fully into this moment here,

The body fills up and so you can feel yourself becoming more solid,

Becoming more of you.

If that feeling is a little intense,

Go ahead and relax the muscles of your body.

So just visualize your legs relaxing and then watch how that happens,

Your arms relaxing.

Your body coming fully into this moment.

As you do that,

I invite you to lean back and allow your shoulders to open a little wider.

Feel the support behind you.

If you're sitting and there's nothing supporting your back,

Perhaps wiggle a little bit and lean against a wall,

A chair.

You could even stretch out and lay down and feel the support of the earth,

The ground underneath your back.

Often we move through big shifts of consciousness or big thresholds in our lives,

Feeling unsupported,

Feeling like we're doing that transition by ourselves.

And what I have come to find in my own journey is we're never by ourselves.

Even if in the 3D we're alone in a room or alone in a moment,

Alone in a shift,

There's always support around us.

And when you can sit in a meditation moment like this and feel physically the wall behind you,

The cushion behind you,

The chair behind you,

It sends a message to your body like you're supported,

You're held in this moment.

And that allows our awareness to remember the universal support around us.

The archangels,

The angels,

The ancestors,

The beings who work with you,

Who walk with you.

So allow your back to feel the support.

You can even lean more into the cushion or the wall,

Whatever is behind you,

Relaxing your shoulders as you do that,

Relaxing your core muscles,

And then inviting more of your awareness down into your body,

All the way down to your sit bones.

So feel you pulling your power,

Your awareness,

Down into your body,

Relaxing your legs.

And just take a moment to land here.

Being present in your body allows you to feel what is happening,

Allows you to unravel some of the places where perhaps your energy is stuck or things feel tight and contracted or heavy.

Because you're so present with your own body and your mind is focusing on what's happening,

You can shift the current reality,

The current experience you're having,

Because you can feel what's actually happening.

So let's scan the body.

How does it feel in your gut?

The stomach,

The chest,

The belly,

The chest,

The stomach,

The belly,

The stomach,

The digestive system,

It digests new ideas.

As we make our way towards a full moon,

There's often illumination of things that perhaps we didn't fully see or understand before.

The illumination of the moon,

It's like it brings more light,

More awareness,

Into some of the places that perhaps were a little shadowy or hidden to us before.

The full moon is often the culmination,

The completion of a cycle that we've been moving through.

And so as we make our way through this time of illumination,

As new is brought into our awareness,

There's often an invitation to release something,

Release the old,

Release the known,

Release the limitations or beliefs that we've been holding on to.

This first full moon in Capricorn,

It's like we're walking through doorway one,

Knowing there's going to be a portal of time.

And a month from now,

We're going to walk through doorway two.

And it's the same themes,

The same energetics that are carrying us through this portal.

So our digestive system,

Our stomach,

Our gut may already be feeling the energy that's arriving.

And so it can be a little turbulent,

A little or a lot overwhelming for us as the energy arrives first,

And then the physical starts to manifest.

Our minds receive new information or see a pattern,

See a cycle,

And understand that something is completing.

And then our digestive system says,

I don't like that.

I'm not comfortable with that.

It's not what I chose.

It's not what I want.

Or I'm not ready for that.

So breathe into your stomach,

Your intestines.

Allow the energy to settle and soothe inside of you.

Simply by bringing your awareness to your digestive system.

Relaxing the muscles of your stomach.

Good job.

Relaxing the muscles of your hips,

Your legs,

Your shoulders,

Your arms.

Allowing yourself to settle more fully into this moment.

Perhaps your mind is already showing you or giving you the words,

The story of what it is that this first full moon in Capricorn is here to show you or teach you.

Maybe you see the whole pattern for the next month,

The flow of what you're going to be working through.

Maybe there is already a deadline in your reality for middle or end of July.

And so you can already see the path that you're about to be moving through.

If so,

Breathe some spaciousness into the deadlines,

The dates,

The timelines.

If you have no idea what's going to be happening in the next month and all of this is new information to you,

Imagine you can breathe right into your stomach and just send this calm,

Like the,

Whatever the medicine is you take to settle a stomach that's upset,

Like Tums or any of those.

Imagine your breath,

Your awareness,

Your attention can go right into your stomach and just start to settle your body.

Like,

Okay,

There's going to be something that may be illuminated.

There might be some changes coming,

Some endings and beginnings.

Yes,

There might be a portal that we are walking through.

And now we know.

And we don't need to know what it exactly is or how it's going to play out,

But the awareness,

The understanding that this is opening up for us allows us to relax our muscles.

Because now we know,

We have the information.

And often the greatest turmoil or fear is the fear of what's going to happen in the next month.

The greatest turmoil or fear is caused by the unknown,

The unexpected,

The being surprised.

And so if we can inform our system,

Mind,

Body,

Soul,

There's phase one illumination,

And then there's some time to do whatever the work is going to be.

And then there's going to be phase two.

And we can remind our body that we are resourced,

Supported,

Held by the universe.

We can feel at our back the support,

The steadiness of this life that we are living.

Relaxing your muscles.

And then come back and scan your body again.

And where else is your attention drawn?

Maybe it's to your spinal column,

Your neck,

Your shoulders,

The structure of our lives.

Our shoulders are very much about the responsibility,

The obligations,

The weight that we carry in our lives.

So maybe you open your shoulders a little wider and wiggle your shoulders,

Stretch your back,

Allow your heart to open.

Open a little,

Open a lot,

Open wider than it was before you came into this meditation space.

Why would you want to do that?

When our heart trusts that everything that is going to be experienced by us is for our greater good,

Is for our growth,

Our evolution,

For our benefit,

For our soul's learning in a human journey,

Then there's nothing to be afraid of.

There's nothing to protect or defend against.

There's just this constant surrendering to the lesson of the moment,

To the teaching of the moment,

To the relationship that is providing the teaching in the moment.

So allow that reminder,

You already know this,

I'm not saying anything new.

Allow that reminder to move from your head hearing what you already know down to your heart.

Soothing,

You may want to put your hand on your heart and just rub the physical body to remind your heart like you're safe.

We've got this,

The infinite soul is here for this human journey because we know there's something magical to learn,

To experience,

To celebrate.

And so every lesson is a powerful one,

A beautiful one.

Even if it's uncomfortable,

Even if it's new.

And then bring that message,

That energy of trust down to your digestive system.

Allow your body to integrate the awareness,

The reminder.

And then flow that energy down through your root,

All the way down through your legs to your feet.

You'll feel the energy starting to move through your body.

And then focus on your feet.

So see your feet in your mind's eye.

Feel your feet planted firmly on the floor,

On the ground.

Feel your feet planted firmly on the floor,

On the ground.

If you're laying down,

You can use your heels to connect to the ground.

And visualize that connection from your feet firmly rooting in,

Locking in with the earth,

With the energy,

The consciousness,

The awareness of our planet.

I call her Gaia,

But you may have other names.

Every time I yawn,

I'm moving energy for all of us.

So you can yawn along with me or just relax your muscles more each time you hear me yawn because we're moving for the collective space.

As you focus on your feet,

Feel your feet firmly planted here,

In this moment,

In this meditation space.

You can imagine you're standing under the full moon.

So maybe you're standing in your backyard or next to your favorite tree at night,

And you can just visualize the full moon,

The Capricorn full moon up in the sky,

Shining down on you here in your body with your feet planted firmly on the ground.

And allow any resistance,

Any stagnant energy,

Any doubt that you are the one creating this reality.

You are the one writing every story.

You are the one who chose this body,

This lifetime,

This story that you're living.

Imagine any doubt to that knowing that you're the one in power and control of your reality.

Allow the doubt to move down to your feet and then hand that over to the earth.

Imagine you can just breathe any resistance,

Any doubt into the earth.

As you do that,

Lean back and open your shoulders again.

Open your heart.

You can put your hand on your heart if that feels good to you.

And stretch your body open wider so your feet are planted firmly here,

Visualizing yourself under the light of the full moon.

And your shoulders are open,

Back straight,

And your heart is wide open.

Run any resistance to you being the one creating this reality down to your feet and into the earth.

You can repeat this process multiple times and each time you straighten your back,

Open your shoulders,

Open your heart,

And then visualize your feet firmly planted on the ground.

Releasing any resistance.

Each time you will shed more doubt,

More fear,

And you will open your heart just a little bit wider.

You will feel the support at your back holding you steady.

So do that as often as feels good to you.

I'm going to continue with the meditation,

But you can keep doing that even as we go on.

As you visualize yourself standing under the light of the full moon,

See if there is a way you can place this first full moon in the sky knowing there's going to be another one in one month that's going to have the same themes or energy,

The same structure.

Except it's going to be amplified by what you shift and release in this one,

What illumination arrives in this first one.

The second one is the next level of it,

The next page of it,

The next doorway or threshold you move through after this first one.

And then stretch the two out so that it feels like they're a month apart.

So here you are at this first one right underneath the light of the full moon.

And there's an awareness in your mind,

Your understanding that we're going to have the opportunity to go through this again in one month.

Releasing any confusion or doubt or fear that you don't know.

Of course we don't know.

We don't know until we walk through it where we will be,

What will be happening,

What our reality will look like.

That's the beauty of this human realm.

Where we will be,

What will be happening,

What our reality will look like.

That's the beauty of this human realm is that we're constantly writing each page,

Each part of the story.

We're constantly calling in new characters,

New scenes,

New sets,

New consciousness and awareness in our story that we're playing out.

It's the greatest part of the human realm is we don't know until it arrives and then we're writing it in.

We're writing the script as we're living it.

And so as you stand in this first one,

Allow your soul,

Your spirit,

Your higher self,

Whatever aspect of you is wanting to communicate with you.

Allow that version of you to perhaps drop a hint or give you a nudge,

A sign of what's the first thing you're focusing on.

What's the,

Maybe what's the main topic or in which area of your life is this really going to be playing out for you?

Full moon and Capricorn and the sign of cancer for a whole month.

Cancer is about our emotions,

Our home,

Our family,

Feeling safe and secure.

What comes up in you as I say all of that?

Allow your soul to give you a little nugget about where to best focus your attention here at this first full moon and then as you move through this next month.

It doesn't need to be a whole story,

Plot,

Movie.

It just needs to be a hint and then trust what you feel.

In this space of meditation,

When you're grounded and you're present and you're in your body,

Your consciousness shows you the next piece,

The next step.

It brings you what's most present for you and then your work is to trust that.

Trust that it's the right thing for you to do.

To move from the meditation space and explore what comes forward for you.

It's an active experience.

You receive the information perhaps in what feels like a passive way.

You're sitting and you're receiving the information and then how do you take that and deepen it,

Contemplate,

Explore it,

Apply it to your human realm and be guided through this portal so that when you arrive at the next full moon,

You have cleared,

Completed,

Released what was illuminated in this moment as the thing to be working on.

I'm trying to think of a good example.

It's like being given a key to a Rubik's cube.

If you move in all these different directions,

Then you'll solve the Rubik's cube at the end.

There's the action of actually moving the Rubik's cube and doing all the parts and the pieces so that when you get to the next portal,

You feel like you did it.

You accomplished it.

You took what was offered and applied it.

So trust whatever is coming forward for you.

If there's a person you're thinking about or a story,

A memory that's present for you,

A situation that's happening in your health,

In your work,

In your home,

If there's an emotion that's coming up that wasn't present for you before this meditation,

Trust the new information.

It's coming to you for you through my guidance,

My voice,

My words,

My tapping into the energy I feel for this time.

But it's not mine,

I'm telling you.

It's come to you for a very specific reason.

And so allow yourself to trust that.

And perhaps at this moment in the full moon energy,

So much energy moving,

I keep yawning,

In this moment,

Perhaps you set a commitment for yourself to follow the guidance and take the next step,

Do the work,

Sit with whatever is coming forward,

And allow yourself to be guided step by step through this opportunity of two full moons back to back.

All right,

Is there anything else?

I just want to come back to the heart again.

Maybe put your hand on your heart one last time and really allow yourself to feel the safety,

You with you,

You holding your heart chakra,

Your heart space,

Like you've got you.

You can come back into meditation over and over and over again and eventually you can heal any hurt,

Any pain any pain in your heart when you just come back and sit with yourself and love yourself and forgive yourself and accept yourself and forgive whatever stories brought the pain.

But you are willing,

Committed to loving yourself fully.

Nobody can stop you from doing that.

Nobody has power over you to prevent you from doing that.

And so allow yourself to feel the strength of your own heart chakra,

The resilience of your own heart to always heal,

No matter what the story is,

To always be able to always be able to heal and come back to wholeness,

Come back to acceptance of the reality that you are in.

So as we start to bring this meditation to a completion,

It feels really important,

Significant for me to honor you as I have my hand on my heart and I'm feeling this community energy to bow to you,

Your heart,

Your courage,

Your resiliency,

Your strength,

Your willingness to be a soul in a human body and do all the journey work that happens when we make that decision to come play here on this planet.

My heart bows to your heart.

I will meet you back in this meditation space at the next full moon in Capricorn in one month,
