This is the gentle loving kindness meditation.
My name is Tiffany and I'm here to guide you in today's practice.
Thank you for letting me be your guide.
So we'll start with being in a nice gentle seated position wherever you may be with the intention of calling upon this loving kindness practice.
This practice that is meant for cultivating our superpower of love.
Practicing it as a muscle,
Practicing it as a tool,
As an ability that we can open and turn towards another with.
Including ourselves and over time cultivating it as a strength.
Starting with the image,
The face,
The presence of someone you love and calling them to mind.
May you be happy.
May you be peaceful.
May you be well.
May you live with ease.
May you find deep joy.
May you be free of pain.
May you be free of suffering.
May you be safe.
And now calling to mind someone neutral,
Perhaps an acquaintance or someone in the community that you see every once in a while.
Bringing to mind their face,
Their presence,
And toward them.
May you be happy.
May you be peaceful.
May you be well.
May you live with ease.
May you find deep joy.
May you be free of pain.
May you be free of suffering.
May you be safe.
And lastly calling out to all beings everywhere.
Imagining a golden light that radiates out,
Up,
And beyond wherever you may be.
Spreading across the sky,
Across borders and oceans,
And engulfing the entire world.
Being with all being living things in this moment.
May we be happy.
May we be peaceful.
May we be well.
May we live with ease.
May we find deep joy.
May we be free of pain.
May we be free of suffering.
May we feel safe,
