So,
Starting this meditation now,
Helping to release that anxiety that's in the chest or in the head,
In the stomach,
We're starting with just that acknowledgement that I'm turning towards myself to want to release this discomfort.
So,
Starting again with just being with that breath.
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
Very gentle,
Very sweet,
Not trying to force.
Noticing that inhale and that exhale.
Being with the body,
Noticing as it rolls in and rolls out.
There might be a coolness or a warmth with each cycle that comes in and a gentle melting down with each release.
We can again ground down into noticing the areas that make contact with the body,
Anchoring us down,
Perhaps even using our hands or wiggling the toes to just notice the areas that make contact in holding the body.
That I am here,
That I am safe,
That I am supported in this moment,
And I can feel the softness,
The coolness,
Or whatever texture we might be sensing with the physical contact of support for ourselves in this moment.
Breathing in,
Releasing out.
So,
We might notice the way that the body can move,
Wiggling around or bouncing or shifting a bit.
We can notice the textures,
The temperature of just how things in this space are here to support us in this foundation.
Just like that bird perched on the branch.
Nothing to do,
Nowhere to be,
But simply be here.
Breathing in,
Releasing out.
And if it would be helpful for you,
You could even call to mind a place that does feel expansive,
Safe,
And nurturing.
This could be a place you've been to,
Or perhaps have never been to,
But using your mind's eye,
Open up into a space where you could imagine is carved out just for you.
Where you can breathe in that fresh air and release the heaviness from the day or the weeks.
There might be sounds in this space of life,
Of a gentle breeze,
All there to rejuvenate you,
Allowing yourself to feel like you are settling down right in that beautiful space that's both familiar and yet rejuvenating and new in this moment.
This space that welcomes you as you are,
And is here to help you release,
Reinvigorate,
One breath at a time.
You can also imagine this space welcomes you with love that surrounds you,
Almost as if breathing in is like breathing in a warm golden light of love.
That is plentiful in this space.
It comes into your body and allows you to replace golden light with that energy that's been leaving us feeling stuck,
Floating out and away.
So allow yourself to succumb to that loving golden light that absorbs in with each breath,
Filtering out the stagnant,
The heaviness,
The things we no longer need,
We can release here.
Going back out into the earth,
This golden light comes in and starts to filter through every channel,
Every part of our body,
Spreading that light in through the nose,
Into the chest,
And vibrantly moves through the neck,
Through the shoulders,
Filtering out the heavy,
Coming in to all those spaces where the heaviness resides,
Filling us with that warm golden light as if it were a fresh rain coming in to clean and cleanse all that is no longer needed,
Washing it away.
So let that lightness carry in and let it go through into all those spaces that are tight or stiff,
Let it flow through you as this warmth of loving energy engulfs all parts of you.
Let the lightness hold you as each cell,
Each part is wrapped up and held so that your whole being can start to float and be in the light and tuning in to be open towards anything that this golden light may want to pass on and into you today.
What would unconditional loving energy want you to know?
So allow yourself to make space as you listen through your heart to what unconditional love would like to share with you.
Let it take shape,
Let it resonate and be held as you hold on to these words or phrases.
So as we end our time here with this glowing light we start to feel stronger,
More capable,
Acknowledging the gratitude for being here and being open to what unconditional love has shared with you today from this space that is always here for you this place in your mind's eye that is always available to you as your own personal refuge letting you know that no matter what it's always within reach and resides right here waiting for you whenever,
Wherever.
So as we start to thank this place thank ourselves for being here today we'll gently start to slowly unwind feeling more stable more capable to return back in our journey today knowing that unconditional love wishes you well and is always right here wherever,
Whenever you need it This ends this meditation practice for today Thank you for being here
