Okay,
So we're gonna start with this Intention of a Lot going on and then pausing to say,
You know,
I'd like to check in with me So congratulations on acknowledging that on making the space and the time to do that So,
Let's begin So,
Let's start with just noticing yourself this body Notice how you might be sitting or standing And Gently start to notice all the areas that make contact and holding your body Such as the floor The furniture the pillow Behind your spine And we're just gonna kind of melt down into that like a bird nestling into their their twigs and their leaves Burying down Maybe for the first time today Breathing in And breathing out as we gently melt back Into those spaces that hold and support us I'm carving out time to check in with me and I am finally here I Am here being held and taken care of In ways that support my body To effortlessly melt back To let myself be held here Breathing in Releasing out at your own rhythm Nothing to do nowhere to be We're just starting to kind of place the to-do list The stuff that lingers around the head And Leave that at the door And when you pass through the arches of Entering into your space right now It's all about just checking in with this body So again this beautiful intention of saying I'd like to check in with me So,
Let's start with just a very gentle scan through the body We can start with the toes Again noticing how they make contact in being held On a gentle surface There might be a temperature a texture that we may feel There might be some fabric Some softness Again that's here to take care Of these feet Free from harm from the outside conditions We can gently push down To feel the comfort of being taken care of with the softness Push down to feel the comfort of being taken care of with the softness The firm The bouncy Again all allowing these feet to just be as they are And these feet are so special Born with us Carrying us into every space Every journey And so checking in right now is to just notice and ask how are my feet What happens if I Try to curl and wiggle the muscles Is there something that would feel nice for me if I try a rotation a bend a point and a flex Breathing in releasing out And Again these lovely parts of the body that all Have a role in Helping us to get to where we need to be And this act of checking in Is like Taking care of ourselves the way we would with a Vehicle or a little one Or an animal whatever it might be it requires attention It requires care Requires slowing down So Kudos to you for doing that We'll gently move up from the feet into the ankles and the legs You'll be giving yourself some rotations here Again asking yourself the question.
How is this part of my body?
How Is it doing?
How does it feel when I?
Make little circles one way or the other If you're feeling Open To it you can use your hands to give yourself a gentle massage Pushing the fingers into the pads of the feet or just slipping them into some nice slippers Checking in with this part of the body again essential for allowing the body to move These strong legs that carry us Connected to the system that allow us to move along on our journey Breathing in beautiful airflow Breathing out This breath moving To the rhythm of what feels right for you Hmm So as you notice that the body may signal what feels right It might tell you what areas are tight And just notice that as a sign as a As a Blinking light on the dashboard to say hey There's something happening here because it's been working hard It needs a little Extra care and attention So If you notice that honor and respect that Try to find movements that might support that Making it feel a little bit better Maybe holding a certain stretch as we may lift up the leg Or we may bend through the knees in a more gentle way We'll move up into the hips and the bottom of the spine To again check in how are you?
How are you hips?
How are you doing?
And what would happen if I start moving?
Left to right Twisting the bottom of the spine Such an essential part of ourselves Connecting in the center area from the bottom part of our bodies to the top So give yourself permission to move and wave And just notice how you're moving And just notice how you're moving And just notice how you're moving So Give yourself permission to move in ways that might use furniture Might use the wall Maybe Moving in a spontaneous way in the comfort of your own home or wherever you are Breathing in Releasing out We'll then go into the center trunk of the body Grand and spectacular in housing all of our organs The space where breath comes in Circulating out So just notice that again,
How am I doing here?
Maybe rotating the shoulders forward up and back Maybe moving them one and then the other Hmm Maybe moving the attention to the front If it would be nice to place a hand on the chest or the belly Again such a sacred important part of this soft animal All of the magic that happens And checking in with ourselves again to see What can I do?
To make this feel a little bit more open And less tight or tense Breathing in Releasing out We'll extend up into the arms like branches Maybe making rotations with the wrists and spreading the fingers Maybe Moving the arms left to right towards the sky And back down towards the earth Hmm beautiful And Gently moving up the attention of how is my neck?
How is my head today Making gentle circles or perhaps moving left to right Very gently Finding what feels good In and out Well that come down to the front of the face Letting the face be neutral letting the eyes close if that would be nice for you And Perhaps maybe even using the hands To bring warmth to our cheeks Cupping our chin in our palms As if held by those Who once held us like this when we were small?
And using the hands to gently Smooth along the ridges of the eyebrow The corners The ridges The temple Whatever it may be I can finding what feels nice for you today as you check in What is my body telling me And what would be nice for me right now So letting these hands hold Feeling That familiar sense of love and care Maybe from when we were young Perhaps it was a nurse an elder An aunt whoever it may be Let the hands of care be felt now As their loving warmth and nurturing gestures come through in our hands now Let the body be taken care of Allowing myself space to check in with this special body Well then come down to the heart space the center line the abdomen And here we'll just notice that gentle And here we'll just notice that gentle in and out Of that airflow Like a breeze coming in through the trees Coming to soften Coming to Blow away the dust or the stagnant Letting all the unnecessary Things that we no longer need to be carried away with the release The exhale And Lastly here in this heart space of unconditional love Anything that we might want to be reminded of today in this deep knowing of Connection As if checking in with Someone who once cared for us when we were small Something they would have said to us in their voice A nickname Pet name whatever they may have called us a big smile greeting us Let Their message Be clear as day As if wishing you well before parting ways Hoping that you have a great day ahead As Ends our meditation here of checking in with ourselves Thank you for joining me today
