Sit up and close your eyes,
And begin by breathing slowly and steady in through your nose,

And exhale,
Letting all of the air flow out of your body,
And allow your breath to gently become deeper and become slower,
Allow it to find its own slow rhythm,
As you feel your breath flowing in and flowing out of your body,
Feel yourself becoming more and more relaxed,
Your body automatically releasing tension,
And your mind becoming more and more quiet,
Feel your breath,
Feel your body,
And now,
In a loving way,
Tell your mind to shut up and be quiet for a moment,
And recognize in that silence,
Even if it's just for a few seconds,
What is left,
And as you become aware of what it is that remains in the silence beyond the mind,
Focus on it,
Stay there,
That is,
Exactly where you want to be,
And whenever a thought comes up,
Accept it,
And let it go,
And come back to this awareness,
This sky-like,
Empty awareness,
That is always here,
Stay there,
Of being,
Of existing,
Nothing you have to do,
Just rest,
Deeper and deeper,
In this awareness,
In the emptiness,
Stay there,
Don't allow yourself to drift off,
And if you do,
Don't judge yourself,
And gently bring yourself back to the present moment,
And to the sky-like,
Infinite awareness,
When resting in this awareness,
And nothing else,
You are getting out of your own way,
And you are giving yourself the space to heal,
For your mind to organize,
So stay here,
And surrender into your essence,
And as you rest here,
Can you feel,
Can you sense,
The peace that is already present,
Peace that has always,
Already been here,
To feel it,
You just need to go out of your own way,
Go beyond the mind,
Go beyond the body,
And realize that your true nature is already one of peace,
Surrender to this peace,
And let it take you over,
Completely,
Let it consume you,
Empty,
Everlasting peace.
