I Am The Treasure

The poem I am about to share with you is about turning within to find what it is we're seeking, rather than looking outside of ourselves.
It's filled with words and images that elicit feelings of love, wealth, and well-being.

Hi, This is Theresa Conte and welcome to the reading of one of my poems. This one comes from my book of inspirational poetry by the same name, Entitled, I Am the Treasure. The theme of the poem is about how we often look outside of ourselves for whatever we may think our treasure is. Money, Love, Peace, Power, Acceptance. Fill in the adjectives that may be what you've been looking for. But the treasure we are seeking is already ours and exists within us. This is the theme of the poem that I'm about to share with you. So join me in opening to our inner treasure. I invite you to take a breath and as you listen to the poem, Breathe in the frequencies that the words and the symbols convey. Then at the end of the poem, Take a few minutes to relax and meditate and let the good feelings sink in deep down inside of you as you open to and allow your inner treasure to be revealed to you. And now the poem, I Am the Treasure. I am the treasure that I seek. I am the angel I behold flying freely into the incandescent evening sky. I am the garden of flowers whose fragrance tantalizes and delights my senses. Strange now it seems that I've been looking for riches outside of myself. I am the treasure that I seek.
