We all face various challenges, setbacks, and obstacles that test our strength and resilience. It is during these moments we discover an incredible power within ourselves – the power of survival. Whether overcoming a personal loss, navigating through difficult circumstances, or facing unexpected hardships, we all can tap into our inner survivors. This session explores the concept of survival, the importance of recognizing our resilience and discovering the strength within you to be a survivor. As we settle in,

Take three deep breaths,

In through your nose,

Out through your mouth.

Two more at your own pace.

Now close your eyes if you haven't already and relax your face.

Now as we embark on this meditation practice,

We'll explore resistance.

The under-yielding spirit when you feel broken but refuse to be defeated.

You have the keys to move forward.

Welcome,

My friend.

You are a survivor.

In this quiet room,

You sit as a survivor in silence and reflection.

The pain etched on your face profound,

Revealing a life marked by challenges that threaten to shatter your very existence.

But you are a survivor.

As you delve deeper into the crevices of your past,

Your encounter memories,

Thinking about defeat.

Moments when hope seemed inclusive,

The darkness has seemed to wrap its cold embrace around your weary soul.

But you are a survivor.

Sometimes it feels as though your spirit is suffocated under the weight of your broken dreams without seeing a way out and defeat becoming your constant companion.

But you are a survivor.

However,

Something has changed.

Like a flickering light in the darkest night,

A tiny glimmer of hope illuminating in your survivor's heart.

It was this fragile moment of your journey towards your survival truly has begun.

Because you are a survivor.

You refused to let your circumstances define who you were.

You have decided to gather those shattered pieces of your life,

Resemble them with love and resilience.

You have decided to move forward.

No matter those odds that have been put before you.

Because you are a survivor.

Now take a few moments to breathe in,

Breathe out,

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

You as a survivor embarked on a road towards healing.

Each step was a battle against the scars of the past and yet you stood tall.

You are glowing with a new profound strength.

You are a survivor.

You have sought solace in the arms,

Embarking on a journey of self-discovery.

Breathe in that strength and breathe it out.

Your continued journey might not be easy but you are willing to take that on.

Breathe in and breathe out,

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

There are moments when you couldn't fathom how broken you had become.

But gradually with each session you have begun piecing yourself back together.

Because you are a survivor.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

You are a survivor.

As a survivor you continue to unearth true essence,

That joy back into your life.

And although it has been solved at first,

You know you will continue to be an ever brightening radiance.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

You have discovered a profound sense of gratitude for those simple pleasures you once took for granted.

Because you have been a survivor.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

You have discovered that your brokenness,

It was not a curse but rather a pathway for connection.

By bearing your scars it was to find inner strength and to move forward.

Because you are a survivor.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

Stay with this feeling for a few moments.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

Now take a brief silence and reflect until I return back with you.

Now friend,

It's time to become aware of your surroundings.

You should become aware of your body as you slowly become more awake.

You should be feeling energized and feel refreshed as you go forward as a survivor.

Take some time to become fully aware.

Maybe wiggle your fingers and your toes and maybe take a good stretch.

Anytime you need to return to this and you need some healing,

Please return back.

Stay with this feeling for a few minutes and just remember,

You are a survivor.
