Close your eyes and let your body settle into the present moment.
Take a deep breath in.
And as you exhale,
Feel the muscles in your body relax.
Releasing any tension,
Any anxiousness,
Any misalignment.
Now imagine standing in front of a large still lake.
The surface of the water is calm and smooth,
Like glass.
Reflecting the sky and the trees that surround it.
This lake represents your inner self.
Your true,
Untouched self.
As you gaze into the water,
You see your reflection.
But notice how the reflection begins to change.
Ripples form on the surface of the lake.
And with them come the images of self-doubt,
Past mistakes and insecurities.
The water,
Once still and clear,
Now distorts your reflection.
Making it harder to see yourself as you truly are.
Now take a deep breath in.
And as you exhale,
Allow the ripples to just settle.
Rather than trying to fix or force the water to be still.
Simply just wait.
Accept the ripples for what they are.
Temporary distortions that do not define you.
They are just a part of an experience.
But they are most definitely not who you are.
With every breath,
The water begins to calm again.
The ripples slowly fade.
Revealing the clear,
True reflection of yourself once again.
Look into the water and see yourself clearly again.
Without the distortions.
Without the self-doubt.
Without the judgment.
This is your true self.
Calm,
Whole,
Beautiful,
Enough.
Exactly as you are,
Always have been,
And will continue to be.
Now as you inhale,
Inhale the words,
I accept myself as I am.
And exhale,
I release the need to change.
I accept myself as I am.
I release the need to change.
Notice how light and free you feel.
As you let go of the need for perfection.
As you let go of the need to be what everybody else wants you to be.
As you let go of the need of what society says you're supposed to be.
There's nothing to fix,
Nothing to change.
Just be.
You are enough.
Just as you are.
Just as you have always been.
And just as you forever will be.
Enough.
Now inhale deeply.
Filling yourself with love and acceptance.
And exhale slowly.
Releasing any lingering self-doubt.
You are complete.
You are whole.
You are worthy.
You are enough.
Exactly as you are.
