Explore MeditationGrowing up in London, Ontario Tara was involved in competitive wrestling at a young age, putting great physical demands on her body. In 2008, after the birth of her second son, Tara was drawn to yoga as a way to regain physical strength and confidence in a more peaceful way. The calmness of a yoga practice, combined with the physical benefits are what continue to draw Tara back to my mat. After completing her initial 500 hour RYT training in 2012 at Moksha Yoga Victoria, Tara continued her education in Yin Yoga, Aerial Yoga, Hot Stone Massage and Thai Yoga Massage. While not on her yoga mat, Tara enjoys chocolate, travel, and spending time with friends and loved ones.
