This is a crown chakra meditation.
The chakra system can be viewed as our spiritual nervous system.
Just like we tune into the physical body for feedback,
We can tune into the chakra system for intuitive guidance and self-care.
The crown chakra is located at the top of our head.
It is the seventh chakra and it comes after the third eye.
It is the last chakra housed inside the human body.
It's typically associated with the color white or a white and gold light and it is directly connected with cosmic energy.
The crown chakra represents our connection to the divine and our own divinity or oneness.
It's linked to higher states of consciousness,
Enlightenment and self-realization.
Through this chakra,
We receive life force energy which supports us in creating balance and harmony in our daily life.
It's like a connection valve to source and our higher chakras.
It is where we access universal knowing and unity consciousness that we can harness and apply to our own daily life processes.
When blocked or out of balance,
We may feel disconnected from source,
Spirit,
The universe or the collective mind.
We may feel close-minded,
Insignificant or directionless.
When in balance,
We feel connection,
Plugged in and charged up with full cosmic support.
We will now begin.
Find a comfortable position for your body.
This can be seated or lying down.
Begin to breathe.
Drop into the center of your chest.
As you breathe in,
Feel your chest,
Rib cage and belly expand.
And as you breathe out,
Feel the chest,
Rib cage and belly empty.
Feel the rise and fall of your body as you breathe.
With your imagination and your intuitive senses,
Start to connect with your crown chakra,
Located at the top of your head.
Allow yourself to connect.
Feel it.
Ask your crown chakra to reveal anything that needs to be seen,
Heard or acknowledged today.
Without any judgment or self-editing,
Be with any information that comes back to you.
You may experience colors,
Emotions,
Memories,
Symbols,
Imagery or physical sensations in the body.
For the next few minutes,
Allow yourself to receive any information that comes forward and keep breathing.
Now,
Ask your crown chakra if there is anything that is needed from you today.
Sometimes it's just about acknowledgement and holding space for the information we receive without any judgment.
Ask if anything is needed and see what comes up for you intuitively.
Now,
Ask your crown chakra if there is anything that is needed from you today.
Take a breath in and breathe out.
Thank your crown chakra for connection today and begin to imagine it filling up with a diamond shimmering light.
Feel it.
Breathe in and breathe out.
Now,
Slowly begin to release your focus on the crown chakra and come back to your entire body.
Notice your whole body.
Notice the sensations,
The temperature on your skin and the support beneath you.
You may start to bring in little movements starting with your fingertips and your toes and allow your head to move a little from left to right,
Right to left.
And when you are ready,
You can blink your eyes open to the room.
