This is a coming home to yourself meditation.
I'd like you to find a really comfortable position for your body lying down somewhere.
You could choose the floor,
Outside on the earth,
A bed or a couch,
Somewhere that will allow your body to really stretch out and open up and feel supported at the same time.
Take a deep breath in and let your chest fill up and expand and then open the mouth and exhale.
Inhale again and fill up the chest,
Fill up the belly,
Open the mouth,
Exhale.
One more inhale here and exhale.
Keep breathing.
Close your eyes and see if you can listen for this furthest sound away from you and then see if you can listen for the closest sound to you.
And with the same presence that is you,
Notice the support beneath you.
Take a deep breath in,
Expand your rib cage and as you breathe out allow your body to soften and release into the ground beneath you.
Notice that support.
Breathe in again,
Fill up and exhale.
Notice how the support meets you that much more.
Inhale,
Inhale,
Exhale,
Exhale.
Allow your breath to pull you into your body.
Feel your body breathe.
Bring your awareness to your limbs,
Your fingertips,
Your toes.
Notice any sensation there.
You might notice little bits of tingling sensation and see if you can locate all the spots in your body where this sensation lives.
Take a deep breath in and feel and breathe out.
Bring your awareness to your heart center.
Notice any sensations that are living there right now and meet it with your breath.
Inhale,
Inhale,
Exhale,
Exhale.
Allowing your imagination to support you and your body with being right here.
Acknowledging the part of you,
That presence that brought you right here.
Take a deep breath in and breathe out.
Start to bring little movements back into the body.
Fingertips,
Toes.
Stretch up through your arms and down through your legs.
Take a great big inhale.
Stretch long through your spine and then open the mouth,
Exhale and relax here settling in.
Bring your hands to your heart center,
To your chest.
Take a breath in and breathe out.
And whenever you're ready you can open up your eyes to the room.
