Hello and welcome.
Today's meditation and healing is called The Holding Depths.
This meditation is a place of deep support,
A remembering that beneath all movement,
Beneath all emotion and beneath all the roles you carry,
There is something within you that has never stopped holding you safely.
A quiet foundation,
A steady inner ground,
A place that does not break when things become heavy.
I'm going to invite you to find a quiet space where you won't be interrupted for the next 10 to 15 minutes.
Let this time become a soft sanctuary,
A pause from effort and a gentle return to yourself.
Throughout this meditation I'll be asking for your consent to guide you on this journey.
Everything here is with consent.
If at any moment you do not consent or you do not wish for energy to enter your field,
That's okay,
The energy will simply move around you.
This is your body,
This is your life,
You always get to choose.
So if you consent you can simply nod your head or you can say yes out loud.
Good.
Now allow your eyes to gently close,
Take a slow intentional deep breath in through your nose and exhale it gently through your mouth.
Good.
Again all the way in,
Two,
Three and out,
Two,
Three.
Let your shoulders soften,
Let your belly relax and let the muscles around your heart loosen.
You do not need to be strong here,
You are safe.
Now imagine yourself standing at the entrance to a beautiful inner sanctuary.
It may look like a cave carved from warm stone,
A secret hidden chamber within the earth or it may be a sacred room formed from beautiful crystals and clay.
Whatever it might look like it is perfect.
This place it feels ancient,
Wise,
Protective,
The air is warm,
Still and quiet.
With your consent and permission you step inside.
The light is soft and golden,
Glowing gently from the walls themselves.
The ground beneath you is solid and supportive,
It does not move,
It does not disappear,
It does not ask anything from you.
This is the holding depth within you,
That place you fall into when you finally stop holding everything up,
That place of safety and knowing.
As you move deeper into this space you see something in the distance,
A small gentle presence waiting patiently for you to arrive.
It is your inner child,
They're not demanding,
They're not broken,
They are simply there watching,
Hoping,
Quietly longing to be held without needing to explain why.
You move closer and you sit down on the warm earth and if it feels right you open your arms.
Your inner child comes easily into you,
Curling into your body,
Resting their head against your chest.
Their body softens the moment they are held,
As if they've been waiting a very long time for this.
You feel their small weight,
It's real,
Trusting,
Safe and something inside you exhales.
You realize this is what the depths are,
They're not emptiness,
Not darkness but a place that knows how to hold what is tender,
What is tired,
What is carried too much,
Too soon.
You gently place one hand on their back and one on your own heart and I want you to say,
I am here with you,
You do not need to be brave,
You do not need to carry anything alone anymore.
Let these words move through both of you and if there are emotions that rise up,
Allow them.
Tears,
Warmth,
Softness,
Release,
It's all okay.
Nothing is wrong,
Nothing needs fixing and no one is broken.
This is what it feels like to be held.
Breathe that in.
Let me say that again,
This is what being held feels like.
Innocent,
Effortless,
True.
You may say to yourself,
I am held,
I do not need to carry this alone,
I am supported at every level.
Feel how the ground beneath you holds both of you,
How the walls of this inner sanctuary protect you.
Nothing can demand from you here.
This is your space,
Your sanctuary and you are safe here.
I want you just to remain here for a few moments,
Breathing,
Holding,
And being held.
Let your nervous system learn this truth,
There is a place within me that is safe enough for my softness.
There is a place within me that can carry what life has given me.
And there is a place within me that knows how to love without any conditions.
And when you are ready,
Gently let the image begin to soften.
Your inner child,
They stay safe within you now,
They do not leave.
They live in this depth,
This place of steady inner ground.
Good,
I want you to begin to notice your breath again.
Feel the room around you,
The surface beneath your body.
And when you are ready,
Gently wiggle your fingers and toes,
And you can softly open your eyes.
Carrying this knowing with you,
The depths within me hold all things.
I am never unsupported.
And as you take one more breath in,
And as you exhale fully,
Know that you are held,
You are supported,
You are safe,
And you always have been.
Well done.
