Welcome Blissful Being.

I'm Shannon and I'm grateful you're here with me today.

Join me in turning inward from Campbell River,

British Columbia,

The ancestral home of the Lugwilda people.

This is a space for pausing,

Breathing,

And rediscovering our connection with ourselves,

Embracing stillness with love and care.

Take a moment to settle into a comfortable seated or lying position.

Let your body be supported by the ground beneath you and allow yourself to arrive fully in this space right here,

Right now.

I invite you to close your eyes if that feels good for you or go ahead and soften your gaze.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and slowly exhale out through your mouth.

Let's do that again.

Deep breath in through your nose and release.

Allow yourself to gently land into this moment as we begin to connect back to our breath and to our heart.

Now I invite you to bring your attention to your breath.

Notice the gentle rise and fall of your chest and belly.

There's no need to change anything here.

Just simply observe.

And with each inhale,

Imagine that you're breathing in calm and steadiness.

And with each exhale,

We let go of any tension or heaviness.

Continue this pattern for a few breaths.

Now let's bring a little more attention to the sensation of your breath.

Feel the coolness as it enters your nostrils and the slight warmth when it leaves.

Feel the air expanding your lungs and the subtle softening as you breathe out.

And if your mind starts to wander,

Gently guide your focus back to the natural rhythm of your breath.

And you don't need to be perfect at this right away.

Just being here is more than enough.

On your next inhale,

Bring your awareness to the space around your heart.

Visualize your breath moving into your heart space,

Filling it up with warmth,

Love,

And light.

Feel the expansion in your chest as you breathe in and the softening as you breathe out.

Imagine that with every breath,

You're sending light into your heart.

You're sending loving energy straight to your heart.

You might even place a hand gently over your chest if that feels comforting,

Anchoring your attention here.

Now I invite you to repeat silently or aloud,

I trust myself.

As we inhale,

I trust myself.

And as we exhale,

To be here with all that I am.

Continue breathing into your heart space.

As you inhale,

I trust myself.

As you exhale,

To be here with all that I am.

Now as you continue to breathe into your heart space,

I invite you to repeat these affirmations.

I am worthy.

I am worthy.

I am enough.

I am enough.

I am safe to sit with this discomfort.

I am safe to sit with this discomfort.

I am so loved.

I am so loved.

I am so loved.

Begin to notice any sensations in your body.

Perhaps you feel a bit of tightness in your chest,

Or maybe a fluttering in your tummy.

Allow yourself to just notice.

There's no need to fix or change anything.

And just notice with pure curiosity.

Trust your body to experience whatever is coming up.

Trust your mind to hold space for these thoughts and emotions without judgment.

Trust yourself to set through this discomfort.

Just like you've done countless times before.

You can trust yourself to be here,

To be present,

To be mindful.

Now I invite you to place your hands gently over your heart.

If they aren't there already,

And really feel that warmth and connection,

Allow your breath to move in and out of your heart,

Filling you with a deep sense of love and compassion for yourself.

And I invite you here to remind yourself I am enough exactly as I am.

Trust that you are worthy of feeling all of your emotions.

You are worthy of giving yourself this time.

Your heart needs this.

It's okay to be here.

Right now with everything that comes up repeat silently or aloud.

I am enough.

I am worthy.

I am loved.

Feel the truth of these words soak into every cell of your being.

I invite you now to gently wiggle your fingers and your toes,

Bringing your awareness back to your body.

And when you're ready,

You can go ahead and open your eyes,

Taking in the light around you.

I invite you to share in a gesture of gratitude that works for you.

This may be hands to your heart,

Hands together in prayer,

Or touching the earth on which you practice.

Take a moment to thank yourself for showing up today,

For setting with whatever came up for you,

For trusting yourself.

Thank you for taking this time to practice with me.

Namaste.
