This meditation is designed to help guide you if you're feeling your emotions rising.
Let's take a moment here to reset,
Rebalance and find some clarity of mind.
Dropping your awareness into your body,
Notice your posture.
Could you stand a little taller?
Elongate your spine.
Feel your feet grounded and allow your awareness to flow through your body.
Notice how your emotions are expressed in your body at the moment.
You may feel some tension,
Some tightness.
Just let it be there.
It will pass.
See if you can feel your body breathing here.
The rise and fall of your chest as you inhale and exhale.
Take some space from the doing and just be here now.
Letting it all settle.
Allow yourself to notice and be with the energy within you now.
Whatever you are feeling,
No need to change.
Like all emotions,
These will move and change naturally.
Allow yourself to be here now.
All the moments leading up to now are done.
The rest of the day is not here yet.
What we have is now in this moment here.
And in slowing down we open the spheres of clarity to move forwards in a way that is more aligned with our true self,
Our values,
Who we want to be.
Letting it all settle.
Returning to the anchor of our breath now.
Breathing deeply.
Inhaling all the way down towards your abdomen.
Exhaling slowly.
Releasing.
Letting go.
Breathing deeply.
And on your next exhale I wonder if you can soften through your body a little more.
Relaxing your shoulders.
Leaving a small gap between your teeth and softening through your jaw.
Notice what your body needs right now.
Do you feel you need to stretch?
Do you need to shake out some of that energy?
Or to hold yourself in this space until the energy softens and settles.
And I wonder throughout this pause whether we can invite our own wisdom to this moment.
Noticing diverse angles of thought.
To see this situation from different perspectives.
Sometimes our expectations are different to the reality and this can cause our emotions to stir.
But how would your calmer self choose to respond to this situation now?
And now beginning to expand your awareness a little further.
Feeling your feet once more on the ground.
Relaxing your body and taking a beautiful deep inhale and slow exhale.
Ready to return in clarity and alert presence.
