Thank you so much for joining me today.
This session is going to focus on the feelings of safety as we are healed.
A lot of times,
If you are living in a chronic illness or just don't feel right and you can't pinpoint it and you just want to feel better,
It's possible that you have been living in that state of unrest,
That state of dis-ease.
And I'm not just saying,
You know,
You have a disease,
But literally breaking down the word dis-ease.
So if your body and your mind,
Your spirit has been out of ease for a really long time,
You kind of get used to that.
That becomes your new normal,
Your new comfortable.
And thinking about being in a different normal,
You know you want to be completely healed,
But what does that feel like?
Am I going to be safe being healed?
If I'm healed,
What's going to happen next?
So if we can kind of come into our bodies right now,
We're going to do some tapping on that.
Just taking a deep breath in through your nose,
Hold it at the top,
Out through your nose.
One more time,
Breathing in through your nose,
Holding it at the top,
And breathing out through your nose.
Thinking about how you feel right now compared to how you want to feel.
Thinking about the you that you want to step into.
Where do you feel any sense of resistance within your body?
Does anything feel tight within your body?
Is there anything saying you're never going to get there?
It's not safe to be there.
Will I ever get to that point?
And know that it is possible to be healed,
And it is safe to be healed.
Because when you are healed,
And you embody being healed,
And you embody the safety of being healed,
You can be your best self for you and for everyone around you.
So we're going to start by tapping on the side of the hand.
Even though it feels unsafe to be healed,
I accept the way that I feel,
And I am open to discovering who I am as a healed person.
Still tapping on the side of the hand.
How am I going to feel when I am healed?
I am open to finding out.
Still on the side of the hand.
Even though I may not remember what it feels like to be healed,
I am open to discovering that healed me.
Tapping on the eyebrow point,
Where your eyebrow meets the top of your nose.
It is safe to be healed.
Side of the eye.
When I am healed,
I can show up as my best self.
Under the eye.
I can start to show up as my best self now.
Under the nose.
Feeling all this fear about being healed.
Under the lip.
So you don't have to repeat this,
But tapping under the lip.
Thinking about where you feel resistance to complete healing in your body.
Tapping on the collarbone.
Lean into that feeling.
Lean into those sensations.
Are there any colors,
Any words,
Any thoughts that show up?
Tapping under the arm.
Thinking back to how this disease or illness has protected you from something.
Tapping on the top of the head.
Circle around the crown.
Did it help you to say no to something you didn't want to do?
Did it give you an excuse to not have to do something you didn't want to do?
Eyebrow point.
Feel that resistance right now.
Side of the eye.
Do you know that you don't have to have illness to say no and set boundaries?
Under the eye.
It is safe to be healed.
Under the nose.
It is safe to take care of your body.
Under the lip.
It is safe to take care of your mind.
Collarbone.
It is safe to take care of your spirit,
Your essence.
Under the arm.
It is safe to be healed.
Top of the head.
It is safe to be healed.
Eyebrow point and just repeat after me.
I accept the resistance I feel to healing.
Eyebrow point.
Even if I don't know where that resistance is right now.
Under the eye.
I can ask my body where that resistance is.
Under the nose.
I can lean into it now.
Under the lip.
I accept the way that I feel right now.
Under the arm.
I am open to releasing any and all resistance to being healed.
Top of the head.
It is safe to be healed.
Eyebrow point.
It is safe to be healed.
Side of the eye.
Maybe in the past.
Under the eye.
I have not felt safe in my body.
Under the nose.
But I am open.
Under the lip.
To feeling safe in my body now.
Collarbone.
Accept and release any and all resistance.
Under the arm.
To complete healing.
Top of the head.
I accept that healing will need maintenance.
Eyebrow point.
I am willing to do the work to maintain my health.
Side of the eye.
Releasing resistance to healing.
Under the eye.
It is safe to be healed.
Under the nose.
Releasing resistance to healing.
Under the lip.
It is safe to be healed.
Collarbone.
I am okay with being healed.
Under the arm.
I am okay with setting boundaries.
Top of the head.
It is safe to be healed.
Eyebrow point.
It is safe to be healed.
Side of the eye.
It is safe to release any resistance to being healed.
Under the eye.
I accept this resistance now.
Under the nose.
I accept where I am right now.
Under the lip.
I am open to allowing this resistance to healing to melt away.
I am okay with being healed.
Under the arm.
I honor my body.
Top of the head.
For all it does for me.
And I allow myself to heal.
You can stop tapping.
Take a deep breath.
And let it out.
It can be scary to be healed.
I know it sounds kind of counterintuitive or counterproductive.
But when you know illness and disease for so long,
It's easy to forget how it felt to be healed.
How it felt when you were healed before this disease,
This illness.
So take that time.
Sit with it.
If you can,
Literally when you get up in the morning,
Laying in bed,
Open your eyes.
It is safe to be healed.
And just tell yourself.
Talk to yourself.
Self-talk is huge.
Your cells hear every single thing that you say to them.
And when you feel safe and your nervous system is reset and you're calm,
That allows healing in.
It allows you to be in that space where you can accept healing.
And be grateful for that healing.
When you take those tiny little steps and you take that path to heal one foot after the other and you're moving forward,
Be grateful for every little healing step you have.
It can be hard work.
But this work is absolutely worth it.
Healing is possible.
Healing is safe.
I'm grateful for you.
And until we tap again,
Cheers.
