Welcome to this guided meditation.
I'm Sam,
Your guide,
Dedicated to bring you into a state of calm,
Where you can let go of any worries.
Now close your eyes and gently roll your eyes upwards,
Focus on the middle brow.
Take a deep breath,
Allow yourself to soften comfortably into the surface beneath you.
With each breath you take,
Feel yourself drift into a state of deep relaxation.
Let go of what no longer serves you.
And as you continue to breathe deeply and slowly,
Imagine yourself completely at ease.
Picture yourself standing on a pristine white sandy beach.
The grains of sand are soft and warm beneath your bare feet.
The sun hangs low in the sky,
Casting a golden hue across the horizon.
The clouds painted in shades of pink and orange as they drift by.
You can hear the soothing melody of the ocean waves splash against the shore.
The sound both calming and hypnotic.
With each gentle wave,
A refreshing breeze carries the faint scent of salt and seaweed.
This invigorates your senses and brings you into a state of tranquility.
As you look overhead,
Birds glide gracefully.
Their singing blends harmoniously with the sound of the waves.
You watch as they soar effortlessly.
They are carried by the warm currents of air.
Their movements a graceful dance through the endless expanse of the sky.
And as you are walking along the shoreline,
You feel the cool crystal clear water gently caress your ankles.
You feel refreshed and revitalized.
Take a deep breath.
Fill your lungs with the clean salty air as every muscle in your body unwinds and relaxes with each exhale.
Now that you're calm and ready to let go of what no longer serves you,
I want you to imagine as if you are standing on the sandy shoreline with you,
Two knapsacks,
One on each shoulder.
The first knapsack is full with worries about what lies ahead,
While the other is burdened with regrets from the past.
Feel the weight of these knapsacks as you stand there.
You hear the waves lapping at the shoreline.
Take a moment and contemplate each one.
The future,
How it will unfold in its own time,
And how many of our worries never come to pass.
Consider the past,
The other heavy knapsack.
Know that you cannot change the past,
But you can only learn from it and strive to improve yourself in the present moment.
With this weight of knapsacks pressing down on you,
Absorb the wisdom of your reflections in this serene moment.
Make a choice.
Do you want to release the knapsack of future worries?
If so,
Simply let it fall from your shoulders,
Drop it onto the soft sand.
And as you still stand there with the other knapsack,
Heavy with regrets,
Make another decision.
Do you want to let it all go?
If so,
Just drop it.
Let it join its counterpart on the beach.
You now have shed the weight of both knapsacks.
Walk away from the shoreline and find yourself a comfortable spot to sit.
Allow yourself to relax completely.
You shed your burdens and you soften into a state of ease.
Feel a sense of tranquility wash over you,
A natural happiness that stems from simply being present in this moment.
You are now free from the heavy knapsacks of worries and regrets.
Rest in this blissful embrace of the present.
Breathe deeply and allow yourself to fully relax in this moment.
You feel a deep sense of peace throughout your entire body and your mind.
Notice how every breath that you take fills you with a sense of calm.
And as you breathe out,
You let go of everything that no longer serves your highest timeline.
Feel the warmth of the sun on your skin,
The softness of the sand beneath you.
And from this state of relaxation,
You can access your inner resources and find the solutions that you seek.
And as you continue to soak in the beauty of this wonderful beach,
You feel yourself soften deeper into relaxation,
Your mind clear and calm,
Your body light and free.
This is your sanctuary,
A place of inner peace and serenity where you can always return back to.
And when you are ready,
Slowly begin to bring your awareness back to yourself and carry this sense of lightness and inner strength with you into your day.
Know that you can return to this state of deep relaxation whenever you choose,
Simply by taking a few deep breaths and allowing yourself to let go.
