Welcome to this guided sleep meditation.

I'm Sam,

Your guide,

Dedicated to help you fall into a deep,

Restful sleep.

Now,

Make yourself comfortable,

And let your eyelids gently close.

Take a nice,

Deep breath.

Breathe in through your nose,

And out through your mouth.

Feel your mind and body begin to relax.

Take a few moments to adjust your position so that you are completely comfortable.

Take your time.

Very good.

Now let's begin.

Take another deep breath.

In through your nose,

And out through your mouth.

Relax the top of your head.

Let go of any tension in your forehead.

Smooth out any creases.

Relax the tiny muscles near your eyes.

Relax your jaw,

And rest your tongue on the roof of your mouth,

Just behind your front teeth.

Feel how this creates more space in your jaw.

It sends a message to your entire body that you're safe to let go.

Relax your shoulders,

And let that relaxation travel down your arms all the way to your fingertips.

Move this feeling into your wrists and into your palms.

Move this feeling into your wrists and into your palms.

As you breathe deeply,

Breathe slowly and into the belly.

Let it rise into your chest,

And then let it go out your mouth.

Relax your legs from the tops of your thighs down to the bottom of your feet.

Relax your knees,

Your ankles,

Your toes,

Until the bottom of your feet are completely at ease.

You may notice some thoughts arise,

And that's okay.

Simply view them as thoughts.

See them as little bubbles floating by.

Some may drift closer,

Some farther away.

Just notice how separate they are from you.

Now gently smile to yourself,

And pop the bubbles one by one as you do.

Feel your mind become quiet and more calm.

Remember,

If any thoughts appear during the rest of this session,

You can always choose to smile and pop them away.

Or just observe them as they drift by.

Either way,

You go deeper into relaxation.

As your subconscious mind listens closely to my voice,

Bring your awareness to your body.

If you feel or notice any tension,

Maybe in your chest,

Your solar plexus,

Stomach,

Or shoulders,

Imagine this space as a ball of light.

This warm ball of light releases any anxiety from your body,

Relinquishing you of any negative feelings,

Imbuing you in only positivity.

Take another deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.

A deep inhale and a long,

Extended exhale.

Now I want you to imagine that you are standing before a beautiful waterfall.

Its water glows with your favorite color,

A color that you love.

When I count down from three to one,

Step underneath the waterfall and let its healing color flow through you.

Three,

Deeper into relaxation.

Two,

Trusting what comes forward.

One,

Step beneath the waterfall,

Let that soothing color pour through the top of your head,

Flowing through your entire body and out of the bottoms of your feet.

This waterfall cleanses you,

Washing away any stress,

Any negativity.

You feel every part of your being,

Down to the subatomic level,

Becoming clean and clear.

The waterfall washes away any darkness,

Flushing it through your feet and into the earth,

Where it's transmuted into the highest of love.

Breathe deeply as the waterfall flows.

It leaves you feeling lighter and more at ease,

Letting you connect with your clarity,

With your higher self,

With the source.

And as you're standing underneath this waterfall,

One final wave of cleansing water flows through you and you feel completely purified.

As the waterfall stops,

You find yourself tingling with lightness and joy.

Now let's deepen this state of peace.

Send a wave of relaxation through your body.

Allow yourself to soften 10 times deeper into relaxation.

Let go completely.

Feel your body melt deeper into calm.

You're doing wonderful.

Sleep is effortless.

You feel restful and rejuvenated.

Take another deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Deep breaths into the belly,

Through your chest,

And let it all go.

Feel the top of your head,

Your forehead,

And relax the muscles around your eyes.

Relax your jaw and rest your tongue on the roof of your mouth.

This sends a message to your entire body that it's safe to let go and sleep.

Relax your shoulders,

Your arms,

All the way down to your fingertips.

Relax your wrists,

Your palms.

Relax your chest.

Breathe deeply.

Relax your legs and all the way through to the bottoms of your feet.

Become aware of your knees,

Your ankles,

And all the way down to your toes.

And they feel so relaxed.

Take a moment to breathe deeply.

And if you notice any thoughts,

Imagine them as bubbles floating by.

Smile softly and pop the bubbles one by one.

As you watch your mind become quiet and more peaceful with every burst,

You can double this physical relaxation.

Let it grow twice as deep.

Feel yourself soften deeper and deeper into relaxation.

Feel yourself soften further into this calm state of being.

Good.

Now your body is deeply relaxed and it's time to let your mind follow.

Now picture yourself at the top of a wonderful staircase.

This staircase is perfect for you.

At the bottom,

You will find a path that will lead you to a place where you can find more relaxation and you can fall deeply into a state of sleep.

With each step down,

Your relaxation doubles.

Now take the first step.

Ten,

Doubling your relaxation.

Nine,

Going deeper.

The deeper you go,

The better you feel.

Eight,

Relaxing more tension,

Going down.

Seven,

Feeling safe and relaxed.

Six,

All sounds around you,

Other than my voice,

Only take you deeper into a state of sleep.

Five,

Halfway there,

Deeper and more at ease.

Four,

Relax more with every step.

Three,

Almost at the bottom,

Feeling wonderful.

Two,

Deeper and deeper.

One,

You've reached the bottom.

Now you are standing on a path.

As you begin to walk,

You feel a sensation deep within you that anything is possible.

Your footsteps are steady.

You can hear the sound of your breath,

Slow and peaceful.

As you walk confidently,

Know that you are walking towards your destiny,

Towards the life of your greatest desires.

As you continue down this path,

You see signs,

Good omens,

That reassure you that you are exactly where you need to be,

Doing exactly what you need to be doing.

And very soon,

The path opens up to a very special place.

This is a place where you can relax even more deeply.

A place where you feel perfectly safe and at peace.

Take another step now,

And you arrive at your safe place.

This place is a beautiful forest,

Your most perfect safe haven,

Where you go and recharge.

Where you refill your cup so that you can pour into those around you.

And as you breathe in deeply,

Notice the pleasant scents of your safe haven.

Let those smells relax you even more.

And listen to the sounds around you,

Like the rustling of leaves,

The soft hum of the wind,

Or the sound of the flowing river nearby.

And let those sounds carry you deeper into relaxation.

Look around and notice the colors of your safe place.

Make them brighter,

Bolder,

And more vibrant.

Realize how powerful you are,

Simply by desiring to change something with your mind.

What else can you create with your mind?

Reach out and touch a willow tree.

Feel its texture,

Its weight.

Notice how real it feels to you.

And send this tree unconditional love,

For it is your guardian,

Protector,

Protecting you in this magical place.

And finally,

Notice how you feel here.

Let your emotional state become even more peaceful,

Calm,

And relaxed.

You realize now that you're in your safe place for a very important reason.

Because this is your sanctuary.

You rest here,

You relax here,

And fall deeply into a state of calm.

Breathe in deeply and fully.

Let go of anything that no longer serves you.

For this is your space of peace,

Where you can return anytime when you need to feel safe and relaxed.

You're home within yourself.

You are free,

And you are safe as you are here in this space.

You fall asleep quickly,

You fall asleep effortlessly.

As soon as you lie in your bed,

Your mind becomes quiet.

You relax deeply and easily.

You can fall asleep whenever you wish.

You have pleasant dreams.

Wherever you are,

You can sleep quickly and peacefully.

When the sun rises,

You wake up easily.

When your alarm goes off,

You wake up feeling fully refreshed,

Ready to begin your day after a wonderful night's rest.

It is safe for you to sleep.

Every day,

In every way,
