And welcoming yourself to this moment of sacred self-care.
You can practice this meditation lying down or seated.
If you're seated,
Make sure you're in a comfortable and relaxed position with your eyes closed and the lights dimmed.
Palms facing up,
Resting gently.
Sensing your breath.
Slowly lengthening your breathing.
Nice full inhales and exhales all the way down into your belly.
Bringing your awareness down there to the sacral chakra.
Dropping in further and further.
Noticing the space,
The top and bottom of each breath slowly flowing in and out.
Feeling your emotional self in this present moment.
Noticing what's there.
Loving that too.
Setting your intention to be receptive,
Responsive and open to taking in the good for yourself,
Sacred space.
Continuing to clear the mind of any thoughts or concerns.
Gently just engaging,
Noticing if there's any thoughts and letting them go.
Finding your focus pointing inward as you connect to your body more and more.
And as you breathe in.
Notice your five senses as they fill your awareness one by one.
Sensing your eyes with closed eyelids.
Tuning into your sense of smell.
Seeing your tongue resting gently in your mouth.
Sensing the area behind your mouth.
Seeing any sensations touching your skin.
And coming into a whole awareness of your sensing presence.
Noticing any resistance that may arise.
Ego defenses,
Stories,
Constrictions in your body.
Taking note of those in your internal space and savoring the positive qualities within you.
Might be spaciousness,
Quiet,
Peace,
Calm,
Ease or flow.
Checking in with our thinking mind and tuning in to any thoughts that might be negative or causing a distortion.
Keeping us distracted.
Seeing any energetic rhythms including emotions such as anger,
Sadness,
Depression,
Loneliness or disappointment.
Receive your thoughts and attempt to listen with compassionate intention you would offer a close friend or loved one.
When you've labeled a few of your present emotions,
Begin to reconcile anything that you wish to leave behind for the day.
What needs letting go?
Or would you like to let go of?
Oh God,
Who is it that?
At this time,
You can choose to come into the sacrum mudra by folding your hands in that shape on your lap if you're seated.
If you're lying down,
You can rest your hands on your navel.
Now imagine a cool cascading waterfall.
Perhaps you're standing behind the water or walking through it.
It could be lying in a stream or standing in a shower.
You're allowing the water to wash over you,
Cleansing away any heaviness like dirt rinsing from your body.
The transformative water soothes your inner sense of life,
Your subtle body and entire physical being with clarity and tranquility.
Let it purify your entire sacral chakra with pristine restorative liquidity,
Including your lower back,
Both hips and lower abdomen.
As you deeply cleanse with this healing water,
Imagine letting go of any toxicity that you carry,
Any sense of negativity or darkness.
See if you can decide to move forward with peace and clarity in this moment,
Leaving behind all that no longer serves you.
Realizing in this moment all is perfectly balanced.
Notice the shift that this creates and the spaces this opens up for you in yourself.
You may choose to dry off now if you wish.
You can also stay in a reflective space of awareness for a few more moments,
Checking in with yourself and asking,
How am I feeling?
Taking note of your physical,
Mental and emotional state before sealing in your practice with an optional sacral mantra of your choice that you can say now.
Opening your eyes,
Arriving in this moment in your perfect presence,
Noble,
Shiny,
Pristine presence,
Allowing yourself the freedom to stay connected to this space throughout the day as you wish.
Namaste.
