Hi,
This is Raquel.
This is a brief meditation for grounding and self love.
This is a great meditation to do when your body is needing some nourishment,
Rest,
And love.
So get comfortable either seated or laying down.
If you can be on the earth,
Rather than a chair or a man surface,
But if that's not possible,
No worries,
Just get comfortable.
So as we get started,
Comfort is the most important thing.
So either sitting or laying down,
Close your eyes and allow yourself to feel completely held in this moment.
Start taking deep breaths,
Counting to four,
In and out,
As you inhale and exhale.
Know you are breathing with this earth,
With the universe.
Your breath is flowing in harmony with the rivers,
The winds.
You are one of the earth's many magnificent creatures.
Let yourself just feel held and feel the harmony.
Just taking a moment to breathe and connect to the earth.
Now I want you to imagine your favorite place in nature,
The beach,
A cypress grove,
A field,
Trees,
Maybe your garden.
Imagine your favorite place.
Imagine you're laying down.
Just feel how held,
Loved,
And carried you are in that place,
Those nourishing soils.
Go ahead and breathe that in.
Breathe out any stress your body's been carrying.
Allow your heaviness and stress to melt away into the earth.
Notice how it absorbs so easily,
Absorbs with love,
Be recycled and returned back to the earth.
Knowing that our exhalations nourish another earth and the oxygen created by trees and plants nourishes us.
There's a symbiotic relationship with every breath we take and every breath we exhale.
Just allow yourself to release.
Now as you breathe in,
Breathe in that sweet love energy that comes through the color green,
Like the leaves or the grass.
Imagine breathing that color green into your heart.
Go ahead and put your left hand on your heart and your right hand on your lower belly,
Otherwise known as the sacral chakra.
And when you exhale,
Imagine pouring love from your heart to that warm air.
Imagine that color green going from your heart to your womb,
Nourishing it.
Again,
Breathe in love from the beautiful earth.
Feel it come into your heart space with the colors green and pink,
Which you see in the leaves and the flowers.
Feel your heart absorbing this energy and flowing it into your lower abdomen or your sacral chakra.
Now remind yourself,
I love my miraculous body.
Do this three times.
I love my miraculous body.
One more time.
I love my miraculous body.
As we breathe from our heart and exhale into that womb area.
I love my miraculous body.
Let yourself absorb that and feel gratitude for every part of your body and all that it does for you day in day out.
I love myself and my miraculous body,
Just as it is.
I love myself and my miraculous body,
Just as it is.
I love myself and my miraculous body,
Just as it is.
Bring your hands back to your heart,
Both hands.
And thank your body.
Thank your earth.
Start to come back into the room.
Think of one thing that you can do to take care of your body today.
Give gratitude to your body.
And what's one thing you can do today to give gratitude to the earth.
When you're ready,
Begin to wiggle your fingers and toes.
Open your eyes.
Thank you for taking this moment.
Nourish yourself and send yourself love.
