This is Raquel,
And today we're going to do a guided meditation for protection and
grounding from Mother Earth.
So go ahead and get comfortable,
Either seated or laying down.
Closer to the earth,
The better,
If you can.
If you can't get close to the earth or lay down on the earth.
Just imagine yourself doing that.
And we're going to start by taking deep breaths.
We're going to do four count breaths,
Four times.
So let's just start by allowing yourself to feel how completely held you are in this moment.
Recognize how you're breathing with the earth breath and the universe.
Your breath is flowing in harmony with the rivers.
You are one of the earth's many magnificent creatures.
Take a deep breath in.
Take another deep breath in,
Counting to four.
And exhale,
Counting to four.
Breathing in again,
Imagining ourselves connecting,
Grounding with the earth.
As we exhale,
Let's imagine roots coming from our body and connecting into the earth.
Now go ahead and imagine being held in your favorite place in nature,
Held by the earth,
The ground,
In this sacred,
Beautiful place that you feel connected to in your soul.
Let yourself feel held and carried by the nourishing soil.
Go ahead and breathe that in.
Breathe out all the stress your body's been carrying.
Imagine the heaviness and stress melting away into the earth,
Absorbs it so easily in this love.
The earth is able to recycle the heaviness and stress that we hold and compost it back into the earth to be regenerated into life.
Once again,
Take a deep breath in,
Breathing in fresh air.
And then once again,
Breathing out any heavy energy that you're holding to be returned to the earth.
Allow it to be returned to the earth to generate grounded earth-gen energy.
Back into the stones,
Into the rocks,
At the core of the earth.
Gain strength in this heaviness.
And then take one more breath of fresh,
Cleansing air.
Breathe out any heaviness your body's been carrying.
And when you breathe out,
Imagine it going all the way down from the top of your head to the bottom of your toes,
Releasing out any stress through those roots.
And letting yourself feel Mother Earth's softness holding you and the nurturing that our earth has for all of her creatures.
Let yourself receive protection from the trees,
Find soft touch from the sweet grass.
See the warm golden sun rays shining through the leaves and the sparkles of source energy surrounding you.
See the sacred earth realm that surrounds you.
Let yourself feel the comfort and the love that you have found today in this special place on the earth.
Let yourself be connected where you can feel the love and nourishment.
We're so loved by Bama Gaya.
We are her children.
We are of her earth.
Let yourself see the collective intergenerational trauma goes all the way to the trauma of the fractured relationship with our earth.
Like the book The Giving Tree,
She's always been here,
Waiting for us to see her and love her back.
She loves us.
The earth loves us and gives us so much.
We're so loved and held and nurtured by Mother Earth and the universe in this very moment.
Trust in it and send love back to the earth.
She so needs our love right now.
Now we're going to breathe in four count breaths,
Four times.
And when you breathe in,
Breathe the earth's fresh air that it produces for us every second with so much love.
When you breathe out,
Breathe out of your mouth and allow for the out breath to release all the way down to your roots.
Breathing in that fresh clean air from the earth.
Two more breathing in.
Exhaling out through your mouth.
Releasing and breathing in fresh golden light energy.
Exhaling all the way down.
Releasing.
One more breathing in love.
And then exhaling stress.
Releasing it back to the earth to be composted.
Back into the rock to be held.
Nourishing the stone people.
We have such a strong connection to the earth,
The rocks,
The trees.
We share history,
We share energy.
So let's give gratitude.
Gratitude to your body.
Gratitude for our ancestors.
Gratitude for the earth.
Gratitude for the earth.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
So you will be taking this earth energy with you today.
Feeling grounded.
Protection.
And connected to the earth.
Feeling the love and nourishment from the earth that surrounds us.
So now you're going to come back to your body.
And back into the room.
Begin to sway your body.
Begin to wiggle your fingers and toes.
And when you're ready you can open your eyes.
