All we ever have is this moment.

This moment in time that is happening now.

Whilst it is fun to fantasize about the future or reminisce about the past,

I invite you to bring your awareness to this present moment now.

To feel an awareness of your body.

By this I mean noticing how your body is physically feeling.

As you sit or lay here,

How do you feel?

How do you physically feel?

Are there any aches and niggles?

Are there any areas that feel sore or stiff?

Can you encourage your body to relax?

To give way to the earth beneath you?

To surrender?

To bring yourself to this moment?

This mantra of all we ever have is this moment,

All I have is this moment,

Is a good one to bring you back to the present.

Our minds love to wander to the future.

They love to wander to the past.

And whilst that can be exciting,

Sometimes not,

Sometimes it can feel sad,

Bringing yourself to this moment today,

Here and now,

Can help keep you feeling balanced and centered.

Focus on your breathing.

Notice the rise and fall of the belly.

And you lengthen that exhalation to bring a further sense of relaxing and letting go.

When we surrender and give way to this moment,

Things become clearer.

We're so busy in our lives,

Working towards something for the future,

Perhaps trying to pay off a past debt from the past,

An emotional debt,

A physical debt that is around us today.

We often are left feeling confused and perhaps stressed by the things that have gone before.

I'm giving you permission today to let go of those past experiences they have gone.

You just have who you are here right now.

Sit here,

Lie here for as long as you can afford today.

And when you are ready,

Move about the rest of your day,

Knowing that you can always come back to the present.

If you catch yourself getting flustered or stressed,

Come back to the present moment.

Close your eyes.

Focus on your breath.

Relax.
