Welcome,
My friend.
You're tuned in to OMHAIKU.
I'm your host,
Maumoon,
Back with another music meditation just to soothe,
Just to relax.
Come back to awareness.
Trust.
Come back to our center.
That being said,
Get in comfortable my friend.
You can lie down and sit up.
Close the eyes and leave them open.
Whatever you like.
Dropping the shoulders,
Relaxing the belly,
Relaxing the face,
The jaw,
The lips,
The forehead.
Beginning to witness your inner worlds.
Of welcoming all that's inside.
You're taking a deep breath in.
Deep breath out.
Inhaling new life,
New energy.
Excel,
Old life,
Old energy.
Letting go of past,
Letting go of future,
Coming into this moment as you breathe in.
And breathe now.
I'm out.
The exit.
Every cell in your body breathing in.
Every cell in the body breathing out.
Relaxing the belly.
Relaxing the shoulders,
Relaxing the face.
Taking a deep breath in through the nose.
Holding that breath at the top.
Becoming aware as you hold that breath,
Keeping the body relaxed.
And very gently,
Very softly.
Exhale,
Letting go.
Letting go of all the air in the lungs,
Just be empty of breath.
And inhale through the nose.
Holding that breath at the top,
Becoming aware of your presence as you hold the breath down.
And exhale,
Letting go.
Empty of breath.
Empty,
Empty.
And inhale through the nose.
Holding that breath at the top.
And exhale.
Allowing the breath to be natural at ease.
Way to stay with it,
My friend.
Happy to have you joining me today despite challenges,
Setbacks,
Anxieties,
Tensions,
Worries.
We're still here showing up,
Taking care of our breath,
Taking care of our mind.
In fact,
If your mind has been wanting to think,
Wanting to roam,
For a few moments now,
I want you just to allow the mind total freedom to think and to roam.
And letting go of thoughts.
Coming back into the body,
So you take a deep breath in.
Deep breath out.
Breathing into the whole body.
And exhale,
Relaxing the whole body.
Relaxing the hands and feet,
The arms and legs,
Relaxing the belly,
The face,
The shoulders.
Coming back to trust as you take a deep breath in.
And a deep breath out.
Becoming aware of how you sat,
Aware of your aliveness.
We're there to see another day,
But it won't always be that way.
It's a cherishing moment.
Whatever today brings.
Take them one last deep breath for now.
Holding that neck at the top.
And exhale.
Color for today.
It's green.
The number.
Is 9,
852.
In the animal.
It's a squirrel.
I thank you for joining me across time and space,
Sending you a big hug,
My dear friend,
Wishing you an abundance of love,
Resourcefulness,
Creativity,
Consciousness,
Having the awareness,
The conscious day-by-day,
Moment-to-moment approach that can allow us to see where we're being actually unaware,
Unconscious.
It's a tricky thing because when we're totally unaware,
We don't even notice.
But there's this interesting thing that happens as we meditate and we do these kind of practices with our breath that we start to see just how busy the mind is or just how lost in the future or the past we can become.
And when we see this,
There's an aspect that can be uncomfortable about it,
Uneasy to see,
Wow,
My mind is all over the place.
My mind is a mess.
And that can be discouraging,
At least speaking from my own journey with meditation.
Sometimes it can feel like I don't even want to meditate right now and feel how busy everything is.
But the invitation is to welcome the busyness,
Welcome the mind being in the future,
In the past,
Worried,
Anxious,
Angry,
Whatever it is,
To really just welcome it as it is,
And hold the space for the mind to do its movement,
And really just focusing on relaxing the body,
Breathing deeply,
Slowing the breath down,
And just being present with it.
That's the practice and it leads to its own beauty when we can really embrace the movement as opposed to trying to just push it away.
And with that,
I will see you back here tomorrow with love.
