This guided pranayama meditation explores Vishama Vritti (unequal ratio breathing) combined with the soft, regulating rhythm of Ujjayi breath to calm the mind and soothe the nervous system. You’ll be guided through the breath pattern: Inhale 4 • Hold 2 • Exhale 6 • Hold 2. The longer exhalation activates the parasympathetic nervous system, releasing mental tension, reducing stress, and inviting a sense of ease throughout the body. By slowing and extending the breath, this practice also supports the body’s natural detoxification processes — as metabolic waste is released through the breath.
