Transcript

Welcome to this quick self-awareness meditation.

Find a quiet place where you can sit comfortably.

You can sit on a chair with your feet flat on the floor or cross-legged on a cushion.

Rest your hands on your lap or knees.

When you're ready,

Gently close your eyes.

Take a deep breath in and a deep breath out.

And one more time,

Take a deep breath in and a deep breath out.

Now observe.

Observe your thoughts,

Observe your feelings,

But don't give them a label.

Simply observe.

If it's a thought about your day that's passed,

You let it stay as a memory or a lesson.

Observe your feelings.

Remember that what you feel does not make you you.

It is only something you are experiencing.

Stay here and observe.

If your mind wanders,

Just slowly come back to the observation.

Now set an intention for this meditation.

It can be to find peace or to feel calm.

Anything that is positive and will help you towards your personal growth.

Now say this intention three times in your mind.

Now imagine embodying your intention.

How do you see yourself in this state of mind?

Stay with your intention and visualization.

You always have been your intention.

You are simply disconnected from it.

Now it has returned to you.

Embrace it and carry it with you.

Take a deep breath in and slowly exhale.

And open your eyes when comfortable.

You can always return to this meditation and connect.

Namaste.
