Welcome.
Tonight we gather in the quiet energy of the new moon.
A time for new beginnings,
Gentle intention,
And unseen growth.
This is a space to soften,
To release what has completed,
And to turn inward toward what is ready to emerge.
You don't need to have anything figured out.
You don't need a perfect plan,
Just a willingness to listen,
And to meet yourself with presence and care.
Let this be a moment to return to your body,
To your breath,
And to the quiet wisdom already within you.
Begin by finding a comfortable position,
Seated,
Lying down.
Allow your body to settle.
Allow the day to soften around you.
Take a slow breath in through your nose,
And a long steady exhale through your mouth.
Again,
Inhale deeply,
And exhale,
Releasing what is complete.
Bring one hand to your heart,
And one hand to your belly.
Feel the quiet space of the new moon.
Not empty,
But full of potential.
A fertile darkness in the night sky.
A place where seeds are planted,
Not yet seen.
Gently reflect.
What is ending,
Or being released in my life right now?
No need to search.
Just notice what arises as you inquire within.
Whatever comes up is perfectly okay,
Just the way it is.
If you find yourself closing off,
Feeling like you're shutting down,
Or not wanting to explore,
Remind yourself that that is okay,
That that's completely normal,
And that it's okay,
Just the way it is.
Everything is welcome.
Gently bring to mind an area of your life that is ready to grow.
There is no need to force clarity here.
You don't need a perfect plan,
Just a feeling,
A direction,
A desire.
Sensing into the feeling of expansion.
Notice where you feel it in the body,
And then allow it to come in.
Taking another long pause here to allow time and space to visualize and to feel into the body.
Now,
I'd like you to imagine desires or feelings of expansion as small seeds.
It can be one seed,
Maybe many seeds,
One for each desire,
One for each feeling of expansion.
Take your time.
You don't need to rush it.
Let it come to you,
This vision,
This feeling in your body.
So you're going to take your seeds and you're going to rest them in the soil of your being.
Take your time as you're planting these seeds.
You don't need to prove anything.
You're just planting it,
One by one.
Just plant it.
Now,
Silently or softly begin to repeat,
I am open to new beginnings.
I trust what is growing within me.
I expand with steadiness and care.
I am open to new beginnings.
I trust what is growing within me.
I expand with steadiness and care.
Feel your breath as nourishment.
Each inhale is possibility.
Each exhale is grounding.
Filling your body with nourishment.
Letting this nourishing breath be what expands you.
You're not chasing the expansion or the growth.
You're relaxing back and allowing it.
Now bring to mind your relationship with yourself.
Not as pressure,
Not as fear,
But as a relationship that can grow.
Many times when we start to connect to the relationship we have with ourself,
We can be met with resistance.
So it's okay to remind yourself here that whoever you meet as you turn towards yourself is perfectly okay just the way they are.
This version of you is welcome.
And then softly affirm to yourself,
I am learning to relate to myself with clarity.
I am learning to relate to myself with respect.
I am learning to relate to myself with openness.
I welcome growth in ways that feel aligned and supportive.
Now take both hands and place them over your heart.
Just feel the way one palm eclipses the other.
Acknowledge yourself in this moment.
Acknowledge that you are willing,
You are aware,
And you are beginning.
And a slow steady exhale.
You can return to this place within you anytime.
It's always here quietly waiting.
May you move forward with softness,
With awareness,
And with trust in who you are becoming.
Thank you for your practice.
