Begin by finding a comfortable position,
Seated or lying down.
Allow your body to settle,
Allow the day to soften around you.
Take your time.
Support your legs,
Support your head.
You can use a blanket or a bolster.
And then once you find that comfy position,
Take a slow breath in through your nose,
Pause and count to three at the top.
And then let out a long,
Steady exhale.
Again,
Inhale deeply.
Hold the breath and count to three.
And exhale,
Releasing what is complete.
Please bring one hand to your heart and one hand to your belly.
Feel the quiet space of the new moon.
The new moon,
It's not empty but full of potential.
A fertile darkness,
A place where seeds are planted,
Not yet seen.

Gently close down the eyes so that you may begin to reflect.
What is ending or being released in my life right now?
No need to search for answers.
Just notice what arises.
Whatever comes up naturally,
Let it be held with compassion and let it be enough.
Now,
Gently bring to mind an area of your life that is ready to grow.
There is no need to force clarity.
You don't need a perfect plan.
Just a feeling,
A direction or even a desire.
Allow yourself to sense into a feeling of expansion.
Sense into the visceral feeling of expansion and allow it to come into your body.
As you become aware of it,
Take note of where you feel it.
Is it in the facial expression perhaps?
Is it coming from the heart space?
Or perhaps the solar plexus or belly area?
Do you feel expansion coming from one specific place?
Or is it a feeling that is diffusing throughout the body?
Whatever is there is perfectly okay just the way it is.
And it's okay to remind yourself of that if you're feeling any resistance.
Everything is perfectly okay just the way it is.
Imagine the desires or feelings of expansion as small seeds now.
It can be one seed or many seeds resting in the soil of your being.
You don't need to rush this part.
You don't need to prove anything.
Just plant your desires.
Like seeds in the spring,
Setting the intention and then silently or softly repeat to yourself,
I am open to new beginnings.
I trust what is growing inside of me.
I expand with steadiness and care.

Feel your breath as nourishment.
