Guided meditation to process and release the weight of the past.

Allow yourself to feel comfortable laying down,

Surrendering your body to the support surface.

You're laying on a nest of support,

Inviting yourself to feel even more safe and more supported.

Surrendering all the tension in your body to the support surface.

Every sound that you hear will take you into a deeper state of relaxation.

You're willing to say yes to that.

That's right.

Every sound is deepening your ability to release and process the weight of the past.

Old thoughts,

Old beliefs,

Old habitual patterns,

Old identities,

All of them being rinsed and washed away.

You're going through an energetic,

Emotional car wash.

We're releasing,

Cleaning and clearing your emotional engine,

Your emotional closet,

The thoughts in your brain,

The chatty cafe,

The Debbie Downer inside,

The analyzer,

The criticizer,

The self-conscious.

Are you ready,

Willing and able to release and process those aspects of you so that the soul you,

The witness you,

The observer you can be more a part of your day and a part of your life?

And if there's any attachment to being a criticizing,

Judgmental,

Analytical person,

Are you willing to be open to being different,

To being the transformation and the change that your soul truly wishes to experience?

Are you willing to go into the unknown and to surrender your mind,

Your thoughts,

Your feelings,

So that you are able to process them even more easily,

Even more effortlessly than ever before?

Imagine a time when you felt safe,

The most safest place you could imagine.

And if nothing comes up,

Create a sanctuary,

A garden,

A room.

Design a place right now with the colors that make you feel very,

Very relaxed and safe.

The sounds,

The visuals,

They all bring you to a deeper state of peace and relaxation.

If you like flowers,

For example,

What aromas would you like to smell that would make you feel so relaxed?

What colors would you bring in?

What kind of fabrics would you lay on?

Imagine yourself there already in a nest of support,

Feeling so safe.

That's right.

Breathing in the feeling of comfort.

Imagine what that would feel like if you could imagine feeling safe and comfortable.

Are you willing to imagine what that would feel like if you could imagine what that would feel like,

To feel safe and comfortable now?

With every sound deepening your ability to feel safe,

Allow every single little sound to bring you into a deeper state of peace and calm.

Safe to feel safe.

Yes,

You're doing great.

Surrendering every muscle,

Letting go of any protective shield,

Allowing yourself to feel restored,

Re-energized,

Revitalized,

Safe.

I am safe.

I am supported.

I am open to feeling peaceful in every cell in my body.

I am safe for me to let my guard down and be vulnerable.

I am safe for me to feel everything.

I am ready to release the weight of my past,

The old stories that no longer serve me.

Feeling grateful for your past.

Can you imagine growing,

Being resilient,

Thriving from all adversity?

Yes,

Yes,

Yes.

And if there's any resistance to releasing,

Are you willing to say yes to releasing,

Processing,

Transmuting?

Are you willing to feel comfortable with the unknown,

Allowing yourself to lean back,

To feel the support?

Surrender.

Feel safe.

You're so loved.

You're so supported.

Breathe in the feeling of peace,

Serenity,

Tranquility.

Ah.

Imagine yourself in a cocoon of love in this beautiful,

Safe place that you've created.

You're surrounded with this beautiful light of support and safety.

You're comfortable,

Nurtured.

You're creating it.

Breathing in the feeling of this,

Expanding it in your heart,

In your gut,

In your shoulders,

In your belly,

In your low back,

Hips and thighs,

In your genitals.

Expanding this feeling of peaceful light.

And noticing the space around your body,

The space around your body that's right.

Ah.

I am free of my past.

Letting go of your heaviness,

Surrendering and allowing the past to be transmuted,

Transformed.

Commanding freedom within yourself.

Come on now.

Gather it up.

Squeeze and relax your pelvic floor between your pubic bone and tailbone.

Squeeze and relax,

Squeezing at the root.

A lot of us have not felt safe as children.

We have a weakened root chakra.

Squeeze and relax,

Squeeze and relax the base of your spine,

Pubic bone area.

There's muscles down there.

Squeeze and hold tightly and you're going to inhale up your whole spine.

Feeling the connection between the lower body and the upper body.

You're doing great.

And then exhale,

Ah.

We're going to do that again.

Squeeze and hold,

Tightening up your pelvic floor.

Squeeze and hold.

Inhale,

Inhale,

Inhale,

Up,

Up,

Up.

Spending your breath,

Keeping your base strong,

Firm,

Grounded.

This is all a metaphor.

You're going to start to bring yourself into your life,

Grounded,

Rooted,

Feeling safe in your tailbone,

Pubic bone,

Pelvic floor area.

And then allowing yourself to rise up from within.

Exhale,

Ah.

Inhale,

Inhale,

Inhale while you're squeezing your pelvic floor.

Expanding.

Remember,

You're mostly made of energy.

Ah.

And relax.

Allow yourself to just lay there now.

Imagining yourself,

Asking yourself,

What do I wish to create now?

How do I wish to feel?

And how would I feel if I was more accepting of myself?

How differently would I feel if I was merely a present being with no past?

What if I existed in the present moment with no past?

What if I simply was myself?

And I had no identity based on my past?

What would it be like if I was simply loving,

Accepting,

Compassionate,

Forgiving?

How differently would I be in my thoughts if acceptance was what I would focus on more in my day?

And gratitude.

What would I think about if I was grateful more often throughout the day?

What am I most grateful for?

Feeling so grateful for who you are right now,

Exactly as you are.

And however you're feeling about yourself,

Allowing yourself to feel and flow,

Feel and flow,

Whatever arises,

Welcoming all your feelings and emotions.

I am safe.

I welcome all my feelings and allow them to flow.

Allowing yourself to be the witness of all the sensations in your body,

Of all the thoughts,

The thoughts happen.

Everything is welcome.

There's nothing you have to suppress or hold back or change.

You are the witness of all your thoughts and sensations.

A loving witness,

Holding space for yourself.

All feelings are welcome.

You are free to be.

And if anything comes up from the past,

Breathe it in and breathe it out.

And in the past if you've been hard on yourself,

You can tell yourself,

I'm sorry.

I'm so sorry I've gotten in the way of my own healing,

My own processing.

Are you willing to process all self-limiting thoughts and emotions?

Any heavy emotions?

All self-limitations?

Are you willing to release and process any unconscious fears,

Unconscious limiting beliefs?

Yes,

Yes,

Yes.

And are you open to being more open to accepting yourself?

Having more compassion for yourself?

Yes,

Yes,

Yes.

Allowing gratitude to swell in your heart for this time that you've spent with yourself.

Going deeper,

Communing with yourself in a more loving and accepting way.

Thank you for being here today.

Your best is enough.

Allowing gratitude to swell in your heart.

For your breath,

For your mind,

For your body.

Remembering that your body is mostly made of energy.

And feeling grateful for the space around your body.

Sensing yourself as more than just a body.
