
Heal Your Inner Child: Embrace Your Past, Nurture Your Inner Voice, And Feel Free
Did you ever feel unlovable or not worthy as a child? Are you holding on to the weight of the past? Do you feel it is easier to give to others than it is to give to yourself? Would you like to feel more at peace about your childhood? Do you struggle making you a priority? Listen to this guided meditation to connect deeply to your inner child and clear away anything that you may have held on to that does not serve you from your past. This practice will guide you to forgive and let go.

Healing our inner child.
Lay down in a comfortable position.
Put the soles of your feet together,
Your knees wide apart.
Allow your hips to feel comfortable.
You may have to put some support under your outer thighs.
Place a pillow under your back so that your back feels supported and your whole body can truly relax deeply and let go.
A lot of times in our lives we have things happen to us as children that cause us to feel unlovable,
Unworthy.
Sometimes we make up stories or narratives,
Have interpretations that we're not enough.
This meditation is going to guide you back inside to those places where some of us have disconnected from for many,
Many years.
If you've felt any hurt,
Hurtness or trauma,
Taken something personally from your parents that caused you to feel less than,
Are you willing today to heal this,
To reconnect to all of who you are and to forgive your parents,
Caregivers,
Anyone that you felt hurt by and to forgive yourself because sometimes we put the blame on ourselves that we allowed ourselves to get hurt and then we get angry at ourselves and we treat ourselves roughly with our thoughts or our behaviors.
Notice your relationship with yourself right now.
Am I kind to myself?
Is my general thought diet positive towards myself and uplifting or am I critical of myself?
Do I expect a lot from myself?
How we treat ourselves is how we were treated as children.
Were you loved by your parents and prioritized?
Did you feel you were loved by your parents or did you feel that you were a burden on your parents?
Do you feel worthy of being alive and taking up space in your body and taking up your whole life in your own life?
Do you feel you deserve to live your dream life?
Do you feel it's possible to have your dream body?
Do you prioritize self-care in your life?
Do you treat your body as a sacred temple and respect it and honor it?
Do you feed yourself healthy food?
Do you make time to go outside and be in nature?
Do you make time for fitness to move your body,
To get your heart rate up and exercise because it's so good for you?
Or do you prioritize everyone else in your life?
How do you lead your life?
Do you do things that honor your heart and soul and make those a priority?
Or are you so busy taking care of everyone else that you forget yourself?
Are you running on empty?
Or do you make sure to feel fulfilled every day of your life and operate from a place of wholeness,
Feeling fulfilled?
Do you live your life asking yourself,
What do I want to create?
How do I want to feel in my life?
Am I living my dream life?
Do you feel you deserve to ask what you wish to create in your life?
Or are you so used to living for everyone else?
Do you feel guilty thinking about yourself in your life?
Or are you shamelessly and guiltlessly living your life led by your heart's desires?
Do you feel passionate about your life?
When you wake up in the morning,
Are you excited to be alive?
And throughout your day,
Are you conscious about the thoughts that you create in your mind?
And make sure to feel yourself uplifting yourself throughout your day?
Or do you take yourself in a downward spiral of negativity and feel out of control?
A form of loving ourselves is being conscious and self-aware.
Noticing when we go into our patterns from the past.
Many of us are living out those programs that what we saw our parents do and how they treated us and each other is how we treat people in our relationships.
And that's how we treat ourselves in our own relationship with ourselves.
Take a moment to notice,
Do I treat myself the way I really want to treat myself,
My ideal way?
Or am I acting towards myself the way that my mom and dad treated themselves or treated me or both?
Do I feel worthy and valuable,
Precious,
And prioritize my own self in my life?
Would I like to have a more aligned and honest,
Respectful relationship with myself now?
Is integrity something important for you?
Do you live your life in alignment with your true self?
Are you vulnerable with yourself?
Do you give yourself permission to really feel what's really there or are you avoiding yourself in your life?
Is there an aspect of your life that you avoid or you do not want to confront?
Notice what arises.
Is there an area of my life where I would like to strengthen myself and feel more confident in my self-relationship,
My career or work?
Am I passionate and do I live on purpose?
Would I like to improve in my romance?
Am I in the relationship of my dreams with myself and with a partner?
How are my family relationships?
What areas of my life would I like to bring more balance to?
You are a powerful creator and wherever you place your attention,
You create magic.
Allow yourself to feel worthy right now.
If you could feel worthy,
The worthiest possible.
Can you imagine being raised by parents that made you a priority in their lives,
That treated you with the ultimate respect and kindness,
Affection and nurturing?
Can you imagine what that would have been like for both of your parents to be pure love with you,
Non-judgmental,
To hold space for you,
To give you the space and time to grow and think for yourself?
Your parents treat you in such a kind way that you trust the world,
You trust yourself,
You feel so lovable.
Can you imagine what that would feel like?
Breathe in the feeling of that.
And as I say that,
Was that true in your past?
Did you feel like that already?
How does the thought of imagining that make you feel?
Notice if there's any sadness,
Guilt,
Regret or resentment.
Breathe in and breathe out any emotions that are coming up for you.
Allow yourself to feel like a river flowing emotions.
If there's any hurts of the past,
If you did feel unlovable,
Unworthy,
Not valuable,
Not prioritized or considered,
Are you willing to process all those hurts right now?
Yes,
Yes,
Yes.
Inhale,
Inhale,
Inhale.
Hold it for as long as you can.
And then exhale.
Did my parents ever make me feel less than?
Go back to your childhood and ask yourself,
How's my inner child?
Is he or she happy overall or is she hurt still?
Has she been seeking love outside of herself and looking for validation in others or am I feeling fulfilled in my life?
Notice if you can see your inner child,
How does she or he look and feel?
Imagine you're sitting at a bench and your inner child is playing in a playground and you're watching him or her get a sense of how your inner child feels based on your childhood past.
She or he holding on to any resentments,
Bitterness,
Hurtness or does she or he feel completely healed and whole?
Imagine your inner child sees you sitting at that park bench and comes over and sits on your lap.
How would it feel to have your inner child sitting on your lap?
Maybe give him or her a beautiful heart hug and you're hugging heart to heart.
If your inner child felt scared as a child,
You're giving your inner child a soothing hug,
Letting him or her know that they're safe.
Feeling your inner child,
I love you,
You matter,
You're so precious,
I love you,
I'm so grateful for you.
And allowing yourself to integrate with any past hurts right now,
Your heart and your inner child's heart is open,
Releasing any hurts,
Inhale,
Inhale,
Inhale.
If your inner child was sad or angry,
Processing those emotions now using your breath and your sounds,
Inhale,
Inhale,
Inhale.
Exhale allowing all your emotions of the past,
Anything that you've been holding on to in your body for years and years and years to release right now,
To drop like a curtain.
I am free,
I love you,
I'm sorry,
You are safe,
I care about you and I prioritize you now in my life.
You are so sacred to me and precious and you are lovable.
Ask your inner child right now,
How can I love you more?
How can I support you more?
Notice what message arises.
How can I love you more?
How can I support you more?
Allow your inner child to integrate into your body,
Feeling peaceful and whole,
Released of all past hurts.
I am whole,
I am complete,
I am lovable,
I am love,
I am clear.
I am whole,
I am complete,
I am miraculous,
I am strong,
I am confident,
I am valuable,
I deserve to be alive.
I am so grateful to be alive.
I am fulfilled.
I am love.
I am peace.
I am confident.
I am strong.
I am integrated and whole.
I am free.
I am clear.
I flow all my emotions through my body easily and effortlessly.
I know how to process all the hurts of the past.
I live in the moment.
I am present.
I am here.

Feel yourself integrated and whole.
You are healed.
You're an adult that knows how to take care of his or her inner child.
If you ever feel triggered in the future or take something personally,
Simply place your hand over your heart and reassure yourself,
I am love.
I am peace.
Calm yourself with your breath and allow yourself to be there for you over and over again.
You have within you everything you need to live your life in harmony,
Empowered,
Clear and focused.
Are you willing to believe that?
Within you is a powerful healing oasis,
An empowerment center.
You're made by God,
Creator,
Universe.
You are a miracle.
You are magical.
Allow yourself to feel the flow of love through your cells.
When your mind is clear,
All that is there is love.
Give yourself a big hug.
Wrap your arms around you and give yourself a yummy squeeze.
Circle your ankles.
Move your feet up and down and bring your awareness back into your body,
Your legs,
Rolling your knees in and out.
Notice how your hips and low back feel.
Set your arms over your head.
Feeling your body,
Remembering that most of your body is made of energy and whatever you think about and believe about is what you attract.
Feeling yourself right now as pure love,
A love light.
