All right,
So in your comfortable position,
Just starting by taking some deep breaths.
Just breathing slowly in and out as you feel your body relaxing.
Feeling the connection of your body to the earth.
Gently closing the eyes and as you close the eyes,
Feeling a wave of relaxation through your third eye,
Down your jaw,
Your forehead,
Relaxing your shoulders,
Your heart softening and opening.
You're safe.
Letting down any defenses,
Feeling the relaxation moving down into your belly,
All of your internal organs,
Just letting go of any gripping or holding,
Letting gravity gently pull the body toward the earth,
Relaxing the hips,
Down the legs to the feet and the toes,
And the hands and the feet,
The heart and the belly,
The throat and the third eye.
Begin to imagine in your mind's eye,
There's darkness surrounding you.
Below the ground is dark,
The darkness of the earth and above the sky is dark,
The inky darkness of the night.
It's a new moon,
There's no moon visible,
All around you is dark.
Just noticing how you feel in the darkness.
Are you comfortable here?
Are you more comfortable than you've been in the past?
Or is there something unsettling about the darkness to you right now?
So the darkness represents the unknown.
It represents not being in control.
It can represent vulnerability.
So,
There may be some fears that come from being in the darkness.
And these can come from real or scary experiences that you've actually had from the unknown,
From being vulnerable,
From being in the dark,
Or this can come from what the culture has taught us about the darkness.
So wherever that possible fear may come from,
Just noticing,
Noticing what it looks like.
Let your body stay calm and relaxed here as you bring forward any fear that you have about letting go,
Just being in the void,
Being out of control,
Being vulnerable and open,
Not knowing what's coming.
And then begin to take that fear and let it condense down,
Getting smaller and smaller until you can take it into your hand.
Even if you're not able to identify fully with the fear or where the fear comes from,
Knowing that this fear is universal.
Just holding it here now and understanding that the fear itself actually can't harm you.
As you're holding this fear entity in your hands,
Begin to imagine not holding it.
So you open your palms wider,
Opening your fingers,
Splaying them out,
And then beginning to imagine opening your hands to the sides like wings on either side of your heart,
Literally letting the fear go.
Heart open wide,
Arms open wide,
Noticing that when you open and relax,
This fear entity can begin to just drift away.
You are not holding it to you anymore.
I'm just acknowledging that you can overcome fear by becoming present to it and then choosing to let go by softening and getting more vulnerable.
So the habit may be that gripping,
May be holding it tighter.
We plant the seeds here now for when fear comes up in its myriad forms,
We open and let go.
Deep breath here.
And if there's still some fear entity,
However small,
Choosing to let that go and just noticing where you still have places in you wanting to hold on.
And propelling all of that into the darkness and knowing that it goes now to a place where it can harm no one,
Including you.
And this is the gift of the new moon time,
The gift of the darkness floating here,
Resting in the void,
In the unknown that surrounds you.
This is the field of potentiality.
This is the field in which we plant the seeds that we wish to grow in the future.
Feel this darkness surrounding you as the embrace of the great mother,
Father that you can nestle in through the night safe,
Safe,
Safe.
And then you begin to notice that very slowly as you rest here in this place of safety,
The dark begins to bring forth a tiny silver slither of light just above the horizon.
And you realize you're looking upon the first light of the new moon.
As you begin to welcome the new moon in your own way,
The moon will begin to get brighter and brighter and you sense the strength that it brings,
The strength of growth.
For this silver slither will soon grow into the waxing crescent,
Independent and whole,
And bring light to the darkness and bring courage.
And you see that in the night sky,
Stars begin to become visible.
And as you watch the stars coming out,
One light in particular catches your eye,
A shimmering star,
Or maybe it's something else,
That's calling to you.
And it's on the shimmering light of the star that you will make a wish in this new moon for the shape of what's to come for you.
Speaking it in your mind's eye as if it already exists and with gratitude.
Thanking the star for the dedication to what lights you up,
To what gives you pleasure.
Thank you for fueling your creativity,
For coming back to yourself in each moment,
To your center of power,
No matter what is arising.
Giving thanks to the coming home again and again to the part of you that is real and lights you up in each moment.
Repeating to yourself,
I reclaim my power and embrace new beginnings.
I am manifesting all that aligns with my highest self.
I forgive myself for the past and I am open to the good ahead.
I am open to all that serves my soul purpose.
And watch as this light continues to emerge from the darkness into the shape of your new beginning.
And in a way that is comfortable for you,
Begin to take this light with its own special shape inside of you,
Inside of your heart,
Which spreads to every cell so that it becomes a part of you,
So that its light becomes your light.
And now you trust that as you have shaped this light from the darkness so you can shape your life.
And giving thanks for the help you are receiving now and will continue to receive from all benevolent supports.
Thank you,
Thank you,
Thank you.
And when you are ready,
Slowly and comfortably coming back to your body,
To this time and this place.
