You must learn to let go,
Release the stress.
You are never in control anyway.
Steve Maraboni.
Take a deep breath in and slowly exhale.
Let the words of this quote gently settle into your mind.
Allow yourself to embrace its wisdom and feel the calmness it brings.
Close your eyes if it feels comfortable to do so and take a few deep breaths.
Inhale peace and exhale tension.
Welcome to this series of meditation track stress relief.
In these tracks and the accompanying course I aim to talk about stress in a different way and create a space for insight and reflection for you so that you can see stress in a different light.
In today's track I invite you to consider what does this quote mean to you.
You must learn to let go,
Release the stress.
You are never in control anyway.
Reflect on the idea of letting go and releasing stress.
How does it resonate with your current life situation?
As you wonder about this ask yourself how you feel.
What emotions arise when you think about letting go and acknowledging that you were never in control.
Do this without judging or trying to do anything with those feelings and thoughts.
I invite you to consider where this idea holds true in your life.
Are there specific areas where you have been holding on tightly trying to control the outcome?
How has that been affecting you?
Now think about any resistance you may have to this idea.
What prevents you from fully embracing,
Letting go or letting be?
Is it fear,
Uncertainty,
Perhaps a sense of responsibility.
If it pleases you to do so take a moment to journal your thoughts.
Writing can be a powerful tool for gaining clarity.
Allow yourself the freedom to explore your feelings on paper or simply relax and listen to the music for a short while.

Let me share a personal story with you.
There was a time in my life when I was overwhelmed with the need to control every aspect of my work.
I meticulously planned every detail trying to ensure that nothing would go wrong.
However,
Despite my best efforts things didn't turn out as expected more than once.
This constant battle with control led to immense stress and anxiety.
One day I came across Steve Maroboli's quote and it struck a chord with me.
I realized that my desire for control was an illusion and the stress that it brought was unnecessary.
Slowly as I began to let go,
Letting things be and trusting the process and allowing things to unfold naturally,
I began to feel better.
It took me a while and I sometimes still forget but this shifting mindset brought a profound sense of peace and reduced my stress significantly.
I've come to realize that life is always unfolding perfectly even when it doesn't look that way to me.
Reflect on this story and think about how the quote applies in your own life.
Do you see it differently now?
Has your perspective shifted?
Allow yourself to explore these new insights and realizations.
