Hi there and welcome to this moment of calm and stillness in your day.
So whatever is going on in your day so far,
And whatever is still to come,
We're going to carve out this space for you.
So take a moment to get yourself comfortable,
Maybe lying yourself down or grounding your feet,
Supporting your body in whatever way you can,
And committing yourself to this short practice.
In a busy world,
It is so important to find these little moments of stillness,
Give ourselves these little resets,
These little calms,
So coming inwards,
Coming to our breath and allowing it to be,
Taking some conscious breaths,
Not trying to fix or change,
Just allowing,
Allowing your breath to be,
Allowing your body to be,
Remembering that we are human beings and not human doings,
So coming inwards,
Allowing our breath to soften,
To deepen,
Just gently,
There's no rush,
Maybe there's a word that resonates with you,
Peaceful,
Maybe there are other words that come to you,
Choose one that feels right for you,
And allow yourself to embody that,
And as we bring that sense of safety,
That little bit of peace and calm into our bodies,
We're going to allow ourselves a couple of minutes to just be,
And leaning into this calm,
And this stillness,
And any time you feel discomfort,
Any time this feels challenging,
Coming back to your breath,
Coming back to you.
So gently,
Very gently,
Starting to bring a little awareness back into our bodies,
Maybe feeling a surface beneath you,
Starting to tune into sounds,
Smells around you,
Maybe starting to feel the clothes on your skin,
Feeling sensations,
Feeling your hands,
The surface beneath them,
Feeling your breath,
And maybe starting to gently wriggle,
Stretch,
Yawn,
Wriggle,
Making any little movements that feel good in your body,
And taking as much time as you need,
Gently come back into your space,
Maybe to allow your eyes to gently drift open if you've had them closed,
And then whenever you're ready,
Going back about your day,
And knowing that this moment of stillness is something that you created,
And that you can come back to at any time.
Thank you so much for breathing with me today.
Take care,
And see you soon.
