Hello and welcome this guided breathwork experience Where we will be connecting to a sense of joy playfulness and laughter And we'll be connecting to this from an embodied place Invite you to begin by closing your eyes Getting comfortable in your seat Or wherever you are,
Perhaps you're lying down Draw your awareness into your body Notice how you're feeling in this moment Notice any sensations within your body Notice the quality,
The texture of your mind right now Perhaps you have racing thoughts about what you need to do in the day or something that went on earlier And I invite you to let those thoughts go To drop into this present moment and be with yourself Affirm to yourself that you deserve to feel joy playfulness and laughter In this short meditation as you reprieve from all else that needs to be done So feeling into your body and just welcoming what's there Let's first connect to the heart So bringing your awareness to your chest area to the heart Asking it if it would Show itself to be felt If it would open a little bit And then becoming aware.
Do you feel your heart a little bit more?
What does it feel like Hard and dense or perhaps open Light Warm Whatever is coming up Just welcoming that sensation and that experience And asking your heart If it would open Just a little bit more Perhaps you feel a sense of opening or warming or expansion in your chest a sense of outflowing energy in the best of ways And again just inviting your heart to open and to be felt a little bit more And accepting willingly Whatever sensations arise and whatever your experience of your heart is in this moment welcoming that experience And Asking your heart to open a little bit more And welcoming what comes as a result of this ask Feeling your heart Being present in the moment And from this place Invite you now to think about a memory that brings joy to you Think About an experience Maybe it was a place you were or a person you were with Or a loved pet Imagine them or the place fully Recall the sounds around you the colors The smells perhaps And most importantly bring into your awareness the feeling that you had in that moment And if you haven't quite landed on a specific memory Just search through the catalog of memories and emotions Of times when you were laughing and being playful Maybe you were teasing and being teased with a friend.
Maybe you saw an animal doing something funny Whatever it is Just bring it to your mind's eye and bring it to your felt experience And welcome the emotion that comes with this memory Now bringing your awareness back to your body Feeling What has arisen since recalling this memory since reflecting on this beautiful joyous experience Perhaps you feel a smirk spreading across your lips as you recall the laughter and the playfulness And just welcoming this experience Basking in the joy and the laughter and the playfulness that arises Feeling it fully Wherever it's felt perhaps in your chest or in your gut Or in your arms or behind your eyes Welcoming that experience of joy Welcoming the experience the emotion of playfulness and laughter And now bring your awareness deeply into that memory Now bring your awareness deeply into that memory again.
Recall the imagery Recall the words that were being said or the actions that were taking place Bring it with vividness to your mind's eye Experience it again Allowing the emotion of that experience to sweep over you and wash through your body And allow and welcome that experience If this is challenging and it's frustrating and you don't know or you can't recall an experience or feel it Notice this experience and accept and welcome the confusion or frustration you might feel Just welcome it and accept it And return to thinking about and reflecting on Joyful,
Beautiful Fun memories and experiences Or perhaps one specific one that stands out that you can really feel the texture of joy of playfulness and laughter And welcome that emotion again Allowing the feeling and the experience to embody you To bring you back into that moment and into that feeling of joy playfulness,
Pleasure,
Happiness Allowing your body to smile with ease Welcoming the sensations in your body that come from reflecting on this memory Now Just allow this experience to fade,
To fade away Allow the emotion to fade Allow yourself to return simply to the present moment Listening to a guided meditation,
Taking a little bit of time out of the day for yourself Noticing your breath,
Noticing your body,
Noticing any shifts that have taken place And remember,
You have the power to return to these emotional states of joy and peace These memories are powerful tools to allow us to return to these experiences And returning to them often Can cause a manifestation of more of these experiences So I encourage you to recall this joyful,
Playful,
