This short and accessible breathwork flow helps you shift into a calm, parasympathetic state. You'll breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth for 10 breaths, followed by a 20-second hold at the top of the last breath. This deepens oxygen exchange, clears carbon dioxide, and creates a moment of stillness and peace. Use this anytime you feel stressed, overwhelmed, or stuck in fight-or-flight mode to reset your nervous system. It’s also a great way to transition between activities—helping you shift from high-energy, task-focused states into relaxation and presence.

Hello there and welcome to this cortisol detox breathwork flow.

Let's get right to it.

Find a comfortable seat or lay down if you prefer.

We're gonna be taking 10 breaths in through the nose,

Slowly breathing faster and faster,

And on the 10th breath we're gonna hold our breath at the top for about 20 seconds.

Let's begin.

Taking our first breath in in three,

Two,

One.

Breathing in,

Filling all the way up,

And letting go,

Releasing tension.

And breathing in again,

Filling all the way up,

And letting go,

Releasing tension.

Breathing in,

Filling up again the third time,

All the way up,

And letting go,

Sighing it out.

And breathing in again,

Filling all the way up,

And letting go,

Releasing.

Faster now.

Breathing in,

Filling all the way up,

And letting go,

And breathing in,

Filling all the way up for six,

And letting go,

Letting all the air out.

And breathing in again for seven,

Filling up,

And letting go.

Breathing in for eight,

Filling all the way up,

And letting go.

And breathing in for nine,

Filling all the way up,

And letting go.

On this next breath,

Take it slower,

Fuller.

Breathe in the biggest breath that you've taken all day,

All the way up to the top,

And hold it here.

Keep on holding,

Keeping your awareness internalized on your body and your sensations.

We're about halfway there.

We'll let the breath go in five,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One.

Ah,

Yeah,

Just sigh and let it all go.

Feeling your body now,

Your nervous system in a more relaxed state.

And remember,

This practice is available to you anywhere,

At any time.

Have a beautiful day.

Thanks for joining me,

And Namaste.
