Hello and welcome Find a comfortable position,

Either seated or lying down Close your eyes if you feel comfortable and begin to notice your breath gentle,

Natural Inhale and exhale Let go of any tension with each breath Inhale and exhale Allow yourself to fully arrive in this space As you breathe,

Bring awareness to your body Feel the support beneath you Notice the rhythm of your breath Remind yourself,

I am safe I am grounded Bring your attention to your heart space The centre of your chest Breathe into this space Imagine this warm,

Bright light in your heart space growing bigger and bigger Brighter and brighter In and out I invite you to imagine someone you feel safe with This could be a friend,

A loved one or even a kind stranger I want you to picture them sitting in front of you As you breathe,

Imagine a cord of light extended from your heart to theirs No need to speak,

Just feel that connection That understanding Breathe in warmth and breathe out compassion Breathe in warmth and breathe out compassion And say to yourself silently,

I am open to meaningful connections And I connect with others from a place of honesty and care Stay with that feeling Let that sense of openness stay with you You are worthy of connection And you are capable of giving and receiving care Breathe in this truth And breathe out compassion Keep sitting in this energy Continue saying to yourself,

I am open to meaningful connections Continue saying to yourself,

I am capable of giving and receiving care Breathe in trust And breathe out compassion And when you're ready,
