Closing down your eyes,
Feeling the body resting on the ground,
Noticing the sensations of sitting and the breath moving through your body.
Noticing any sensations in the body that want to be acknowledged right now.
Now let us set an intention to surrender fully,
Letting go of any tension in the body,
Letting go of the need to follow the mind.
Now let's release all guidance,
Nothing you need to focus on,
Just letting experience be as it is,
Sitting as awareness itself.
Being the silent observer that notices anything that passes through your field of awareness and letting it pass by.
Thoughts may come and go,
Sensations may shift,
Sounds may appear and fade away.
None of this needs to be followed,
It can be noticed and then let go again.
Simply surrender to this moment,
Staying as this openness.
Notice how peace doesn't depend on silence,
How clarity doesn't depend on control.
Everything is allowed to move and nothing needs to be carried or followed.
If the mind reaches for something to do,
Let that movement be included in your awareness.
If there is rest,
Let this rest be included in your awareness.
Recognize what remains when you're not holding on to anything.
Let us rest here in silence now,
Sitting as awareness itself.

Slowly,
Invite your awareness back to the body,
Feeling the contact with the surface beneath you,
The subtle movements of breathing.
The subtle movements of breathing.
Slowly bringing some movement back into your hands and feet.
Let's take one deep breath in through the nose and exhale fully through the mouth.
