Welcome to this heart space meditation.
In this practice we will gently open our hearts,
Creating a safe and receptive space for love and connection.
Through visualization and affirmation we'll tap into the warmth of our heart center,
Allowing it to expand with light and compassion.
Let's begin.
Start by finding a comfortable position,
Either seated with your back straight and shoulders relaxed or lying down if that feels more supportive.
If you are seated,
Let your hands rest gently on your lap.
If lying down,
Allow your arms to relax by your sides.
Close your eyes and allow your breath to flow naturally.
Slowly begin to let go of the outside world and turn your awareness inward.
Notice the natural rhythm of your breath.
Inhale,
Feel the chest and belly expand.
Exhale fully,
Releasing any tension or heaviness you may be holding.
Inhale,
Your expanding.
Exhale,
Releasing.
Inhale,
You are expanding.
Exhale,
Releasing.
Allow your breath to become soft and effortless.
Let it be natural.
With each breath,
Notice the calmness that arises within.
As your body becomes more relaxed,
The breath will become slower and deeper.
This will allow your mind to relax too,
Allowing you to let go of anything that you don't need right now.
Letting go of any distractions.
Now gently bring your awareness to the center of your chest.
As you inhale,
Imagine a warm and soft glow of light expanding from the heart.
With each breath,
This gentle radiance spreads through your chest,
Filling your entire body with warmth and serenity.
With each inhale,
This light and this feeling grows stronger.
And with every exhale,
This gentle radiance spreads through your chest,
Filling your body with warmth and serenity.
Let your awareness rest here in this inner space of the heart.
Feel the spaciousness that exists here,
A vast open sky within,
Untouched and pure.
Visualize this inner space as an infinite sky.
This sky is clear,
Boundless and peaceful.
This is your Hridayaksha,
The etheric sacred space of the heart.
It is always here,
Always expansive,
Holding your innermost truth.
As you rest your awareness in this heart space,
Feel the vastness,
The stillness.
There is no past here,
No future.
There is only the infinite present.
Within this space,
You are supported and you are at ease.
Feel the connection with your true self.
This holds all that you are,
The love,
Joy,
Wisdom and peace.
In this space,
You are whole,
You are complete.
Allow yourself to just relax in this wholeness.
There is no need to look for anything because everything is already here.
Allow yourself to relax in this feeling of wholeness.
Now bring your awareness to your breath once again.
Visualize your breath as a current of soft healing energy flowing into your heart space.
With each inhale,
The breath flows into this inner sky,
Filling it with even more light and more love.
And as you exhale,
Let go of any burdens,
Judgments or fears.
Release them into the infinite sky of the heart,
Where they dissolve into the vastness.
Feel the spaciousness within grow with each breath,
As if your entire being is becoming one with this boundless heart sky.
Now allow yourself to simply rest in this beautiful state of presence.
No effort is required here,
Just be and enjoy.
Feel the quiet and the stillness of your inner heart sky and if a thought arises,
Acknowledge them gently and let them drift away,
Like clouds passing through the sky.
Slowly begin to deepen your breath again.
Become aware of the sounds in your surroundings.
Wiggle your fingers and toes and when you're ready,
Open your eyes.
