Eight Direction Taurus Breathing In this meditation,
You'll become aware of the central current and torus field generated by the source of your being,
Which brings your individualized consciousness and body into form.
The light of source centers in your heart,
Generating a vertical axis of light running from your perineum up through your crown.
This central channel generates a torus field all around you.
This torus field is like a donut-shaped energy lattice extending several feet around your body,
With the donut hole being the central axis running vertically from your perineum to your crown.
This field is your personal space,
Woven within the universal field of all life.
Experiencing the energy and consciousness of this toroidal field connects you with your soul frequency and gives you a felt sense of connection with all that is.
When your torus field is energized,
Balanced,
And flowing smoothly,
Your whole being is harmonized within,
With all beings,
And your source.
Let's begin by sitting comfortably upright,
With the soles of your feet flat on the ground and parallel with each other.
Rest your hands palms cupped in your lap,
With the tips of your thumbs touching lightly.
Lightly close your eyes.
Take a moment to settle in your seat.
And be present inside your body.
Consider dedicating this practice to the benefit of all beings,
Acknowledging your oneness with all of life,
Knowing that the peace and positive energy of your practice flows out through the whole field of the one life we all share.
Now,
Focus down into feeling the sensations of contact of the soles of your feet on the ground.
You might press your feet down for a moment and wiggle your toes to bring your attention down here.
Then allow your feet and your toes to soften and relax,
Feeling as if they are melting deep down into the earth.
Feel down into the frequency of the earth.
This deeply grounded presence in which we live.
Allow the feeling of grounded presence to flow up through the soles of your feet,
Up through your shins and calves,
Your knees and thighs,
Into your hips and pelvic bowl,
Resting down in your seat.
Feel the weight of your body resting down in your seat,
Resting down on the earth.
Focus into your palms and fingers resting cupped in your lap.
Awaken sensory awareness here in your hands and allow your hands to soften and relax,
Feeling as if they are melting down into your legs.
Feel the soft openness in your hands,
Connected with the soft openness of your heart.
As your hands and fingers relax even more,
Allow your arms and shoulders to relax down.
Releasing any tension in your shoulders,
Your neck and your head.
Imagine and feel as if a string is attached to the top of your head,
Drawing your spine gently upright,
Like a string of luminous pearls.
Feel your spine gently stretched from your perineum and tailbone,
Right up through the top of your head,
Like a stream of light flowing upward,
Up through the top of your head and opening to the vast,
Clear sky above.
Feel the vast openness of the sky.
Now,
Tuck your chin just slightly,
Gently lengthening the back of your neck.
Lightly close your lips and breathe in and out through your nose.
Feel the energy in your breath,
Lighting up your nasal passages,
Eyes and forehead,
Brightening awareness.
As you continue nasal breathing,
Rest your tongue up on the roof of your mouth,
With the tip of your tongue touching the gum line behind your upper front teeth.
Soften and relax your tongue here.
Softening your tongue sends a relaxation signal to the vagus nerve,
Which originates in your brainstem,
In the center of your brain.
As you soften and relax your tongue even more,
Feel this relaxation flowing back along your tongue,
Into the center of your brain,
Lighting up the center of your brain with relaxed aliveness.
Breathe in and out through the center of your brain to amplify the energy here.
In the center of your brain is your pineal gland,
A liquid crystalline transducer of light.
As you continue to breathe in and out through the center of your brain,
Feel this small pine cone shaped gland in the center of your brain light up with clear diamond light.
Feel this light flowing down from the center of your brain,
Flowing down through your vagus nerve,
Down through your throat,
And down into your heart,
Relaxing and releasing any tension around your heart.
Lighting up your heart with the loving light of Source.
Breathe this light in and out through your heart,
Amplifying the signal here.
Feel this light flowing down through your abdomen,
Relaxing and releasing any tension in your abdomen and lower back.
Lighting up your abdomen with pure positive energy.
Breathe this light in and out through your lower abdomen.
As you breathe in,
Feel a downward pressure in your pelvic bowl as it fills up.
And as you breathe out,
Feel the energy concentrate in a pearl of energy in your lower abdomen.
As you breathe out,
Feel the energy concentrate in your lower abdomen.
As you breathe in,
Feel the energy concentrate in your lower abdomen.
As you breathe out,
Feel the energy concentrate in your lower abdomen.
You can gently squeeze your perineum to amplify the energy in the glowing pearl.
As you continue to feel the energy at your perineum,
Also feel the energy in your crown point at the top of your head tingling with luminosity.
Feel the path between your perineum and crown point like a stream of light flowing up through the core of your body.
Feel this whole central channel at once.
Now we're going to begin eight-direction torus breathing.
Imagining and feeling toroidal energy loops one direction at a time.
We'll begin to the left,
Then to the right,
Front,
Back,
Left front corner,
Right rear corner,
Left rear corner,
And right front corner.
You don't have to remember this sequence.
I'll guide you through it one loop at a time.
Let's begin.
As you breathe in deeply,
Gently contract your perineum,
Tuck your chin,
And slowly draw your breath up through your central channel from your perineum up to your crown.
Pause and feel the current flowing up to your crown.
Exhale and follow the flow up and out through the top of your head,
Out to the left,
And down around your left side,
Returning to your perineum.
Pause and feel the left side loop activated together with the central channel.
Now breathe in,
Gently contract your perineum,
And draw your breath up through your central channel.
Pause and feel your whole central channel lit with energy.
Exhale and follow the flow up and out through the top of your head,
Out to the right,
And down around your right side,
Returning to your perineum.
Pause and feel the right side loop activated together with the central channel.
Imagine and feel both the left and right loops together,
Along with the central channel in the center.
Now the front loop.
Breathe in,
Gently contract your perineum,
And draw the current of your breath up through your central channel.
Pause and feel your whole central channel glowing with energy.
Exhale up and out through the top of your head,
Out in front of you,
And down,
Returning to your perineum.
Imagine and feel the front loop together with the central channel,
Activated and energized.
Now the back loop.
Breathe in,
Gently contract your perineum,
And draw the current of your in-breath up through your central channel.
Pause and feel your whole central channel alive with energy.
Exhale and follow the flow up and out through the top of your head,
Out behind you,
And down,
Returning to your perineum.
Feel that whole back loop together with the central channel.
Imagine and feel the front and back loops together,
Activated,
Along with the central channel.
Allow this energy to flow naturally,
Effortlessly.
This energy flow is already here.
You are simply becoming aware of it.
Now the left front corner.
Breathe in,
Gently contract your perineum,
And draw your breath up through your central channel.
Pause and feel your whole central channel lit with energy.
Exhale and follow the flow up and out through the top of your head,
Out to the left front corner,
And down around your body,
Returning to your perineum.
Pause and feel the whole left front quadrant lit with energy,
Between the front and left side loops,
With the left front corner loop in between.
Right rear corner.
Breathe in,
Gently contract your perineum,
And draw your breath up through your central channel.
Pause and feel your whole central channel alive with energy.
Exhale up and out through the top of your head,
Out to the right rear corner,
And down around your body,
Returning to your perineum.
Pause and feel the right rear corner quadrant,
Between the right side loop and back loop,
Energized,
With the right rear corner loop in the middle.
Left rear corner loop.
Breathe in,
Gently contract your perineum,
And draw your breath up through your central channel.
Pause and feel your whole central channel pulsing with energy.
Exhale up and out through the top of your head,
Out to the left rear corner,
And down around your body,
Returning to your perineum.
Pause and feel the left rear quadrant,
Energized,
Between the left side loop and back loop,
With the left rear corner loop in the middle.
Right front corner loop.
Breathe in and draw the current up through your central channel.
Pause and feel the whole central channel at once,
Alive with energy.
Exhale up and out through the top of your head,
Out to the right front corner,
And down around your body,
Returning to your perineum.
Pause and feel the front right quadrant,
Energized,
Between the front loop and right side loop,
With the right front corner loop in the middle.
Feel the central channel in all four quadrants,
Equally energized.
Now we'll breathe through all eight directions at once.
Breathe into your pelvic bowl,
Contract your perineum,
And draw your breath up through your central channel to your crown.
Pause and feel the whole central channel alive with energy.
Exhale up and out through the top of your head,
Like a fountain of light,
Out through all eight loops,
And down around your body to your perineum.
Pause and feel all eight loops,
All four quadrants of your torus field,
Energized.
Continue breathing up through the central channel and out through all eight loops,
Down around your body to the perineum,
At whatever pace feels good to you.
Now let go of breathing and feel the light of source centered in your heart,
Together with your central channel and the torus field all around.
Feel your heart shining like the sun.
Illuminating the central channel and torus field.
Feel the light of your heart shining out through the torus field and out through the whole light field of life,
The light field of all beings and our whole planet.
Joined with the universal life field,
All planets,
All star systems,
All beings in all dimensions.
Feel the light of your heart,
The light of your soul,
The light of source shining out through all that is.
Feel this light field of life extending infinitely in all directions.
Feel the oneness of all life shining brightly,
The light of all hearts shining together.
Now become aware of that within which the whole field of life arises,
The source of all.
Beyond space and time,
Beyond name and form,
All embracing.
Now feel the whole light field of life arising in the vastness.
Feel the light of source shining out through your heart,
Out through all that is.
No inside,
No outside.
Notice how you feel.
Really soak it in.
Let it saturate your being so it's unforgettable.
Now feel the tingling aliveness at the top of your head opening to the vast,
Clear sky above.
Feel the warm openness of your hands and heart embracing all.
And feel your abdomen,
Hips,
Legs and feet resting down on the earth,
Fully present here,
Now.
In this body,
On this earth.
Anchoring this luminous loving presence and broadcasting it out through all beings,
Our whole planet and all that is.
Now maintain this feeling inside and all around as you slowly open your eyes.
No difference eyes open or eyes closed.
Bring this luminous loving presence with you wherever you go,
To everyone you meet,
Acknowledging all as expressions of the light.
