Welcome to your daily meditation.
I'm Kelly Austin and I'm honored to be your guide on this grounding meditation.
So take a moment and find a comfortable position and get settled into your body.
Take a few deep,
Cleansing breaths.
As you sink deeper and deeper into your body,
It is safe to come home into your body.
And I want you to imagine your body as a tree,
Feeling your body deeply connected and held by the earth below you.
As you imagine your roots going deep,
Deep,
Deep into the earth,
Connecting all the way down to the fiery core.
And as you send all of your tension,
All emotions you want to release through your roots into the fiery core,
Where they can be transmuted back to love.
And noticing any roots below you that need some support.
Connecting with the tree roots of the other trees who naturally send you love and healing energy.
Receiving the support and emotional nutrients.
Feeling held and loved.
And with each inhale,
Drawing up this loving energy through your trunk,
Up your spine,
And through your branches,
Out the tips of your fingers.
Feeling the strength in your trunk and your spine.
As your branches reach up towards the sky,
Drinking in the sunlight.
And as you shake away any unwanted energy from your own tree,
As old leaves naturally and gracefully float away.
Feeling so deeply rooted in yourself,
That any wind or any storm that may come does not rock you.
You are steady within yourself.
Wise and unmoved in the truth of who you are.
Feeling both grounded and expansive.
Both strong and soft.
Loved and supported.
This sacred truth.
Letting your roots deepen.
Your heart soften.
And your branches stretch.
Carrying this grounded energy with you throughout the rest of your day.
And when you feel ready,
You can bring gentle movement to your fingers and your toes.
Slowly open your eyes.
