Peace on Earth will come to stay when we live the spirit of the holidays every day.

Hello and welcome to Janoji Healing.

That beautiful quote by Helen Steiner Rice reminds us that the holiday season is more than a date on the calendar.

It's an opportunity to connect with the values of peace,

Love,

And joy that guide us every day.

Today we'll celebrate the spirit of the holidays through a calming meditation,

Allowing you to find stillness,

Gratitude,

And connection,

No matter how you celebrate.

The holiday season is often a time of reflection,

Connection,

And celebration,

A season filled with lights,

Traditions,

And the warmth of giving and receiving.

Yet it can also bring its own challenges,

From the busyness of preparations to the emotions tied to family or the past.

This meditation is designed to help you embrace the spirit of the holidays with peace,

Joy,

And an open heart.

Together we'll create a space of calm and gratitude,

Allowing you to connect with the beauty of the season in a way that feels true to you.

Let's get started.

Settle into a comfortable position,

Allowing your body to be fully supported by the surface beneath you.

Close your eyes and let's start with some breath work.

With each breath,

Feel your body becoming more relaxed and your mind more at ease.

Take a deep breath into your head,

Into your brain.

Big exhale.

A deep breath into your chest,

Into your heart space.

Big exhale.

Deep breath into your belly.

Big exhale.

And a deep breath into your pelvis,

Into your hips.

Big exhale.

Exhale all the way down your legs through the bottom of your feet to ground yourself into Mother Earth by using your Earth Star Chakra that sits below your feet,

About a foot,

Foot and a half.

Also visualize or otherwise imagine the grounding cord from your Root Chakra also going into Mother Earth.

And turn your attention inward.

Watch the witness and find that space of neutrality within and try to stay in present moment awareness as best you can throughout the meditation.

Relax your shoulders.

Relax your neck.

Relax your jaw.

Relax your face muscles.

And relax your head.

Just let go of any weight you're carrying,

Physical,

Emotional or mental.

There is nothing you need to do right now except be here.

Now,

Visualize or otherwise imagine yourself surrounded by a soft,

Warm light,

The kind of light that comes from candles glowing in a window or twinkling holiday lights on a tree.

This light is gentle,

Comforting and filled with the essence of the holiday season,

Love,

Joy and peace.

And as you breathe in,

Imagine this light filling your body,

Warming your heart and bringing a sense of ease and serenity.

With each exhale,

Release any tension or heaviness you may be feeling.

Just let it go.

Very nice.

Now,

Think about one thing,

Big or small,

That brings you joy during this season.

It could be the laughter of a loved one,

The stillness of a snowy morning or the glow of lights in the dark.

Hold this image you're feeling in your heart and allow it to expand,

Filling you with gratitude.

And if you wish,

Silently say to yourself,

I welcome joy into my heart.

I am grateful for the blessings in my life.

Beautiful.

And reflect on how you would like to feel this holiday season.

Perhaps it's peace,

Connection or simplicity.

Just visualize or otherwise yourself moving through this season with those intentions guiding you,

Like a gentle star lighting your path.

And silently affirm,

I am free to create a holiday season that feels meaningful and joyful to me.

Beautiful.

Now,

Visualize or otherwise imagine the warm light that surrounds you,

Expanding outward,

Wrapping your loved ones in its glow and let it continue to grow,

Extending to your community,

Your country and eventually the world.

This light carries your wishes for peace,

Joy and love to everyone near and far.

Beautiful.

And silently say to yourself,

May I be at peace.

May I be filled with joy.

May I bring light to the world this season.

Take a deep breath in and as you exhale,

Bring your awareness back to your body.

Just wiggle your fingers and toes and when you're ready,

Slowly open your eyes.

How did that feel?

Beautiful,

Right?

Carry the warmth and calm of this meditation with you throughout your day,

Letting it guide you as you embrace the beauty and the spirit of the holiday season.

Thank you so much for joining me today for this meditation.

Remember,

The holidays are a time to connect with the spirit of love and joy in whatever way feels most meaningful to you.

Whether it's through family,

Tradition,

Solitude or something entirely your own,

You have the freedom to make this season yours.

If you enjoyed this meditation,

Namaste.
