I created some Affirmations for Anxiety to help assist you in coming into a more mindful state. As we know, there are many different levels of anxiety. It is my hope that these affirmations can assist you when we find ourselves in a state of heightened overwhelm, which can be quite debilitating. Affirmations are one of many tools to assist in anxiety and finding more balance in our feelings and bodies. These affirmations can also be used as journal prompts.

Hello,

My name is John Steen.

I am a certified energy healing practitioner.

Anxiety can stem from various sources such as CPTSD,

Which is complex post-traumatic stress disorder,

A dysfunctional childhood,

Stress,

Genetics,

Past traumas,

Brain chemistry,

And environmental factors.

It's often a complex interplay of these factors rather than just one single cause.

Also,

A dysregulated nervous system can contribute to anxiety.

When the nervous system is out of balance,

It can lead to heightened levels of stress and arousal,

Making a person more susceptible to experiencing anxiety symptoms.

Factors such as chronic stress,

Trauma,

Or disruptions in the body's natural regulatory processes can all affect the nervous system and increase the likelihood of developing anxiety.

As we know,

We can experience many different levels of anxiety.

Some of those more heightened states of fear,

Where we find it difficult to calm our minds,

Can really be debilitating.

I've been there myself many times.

I've created some affirmations for anxiety to help guide you into a more mindful state.

It is my hope with these affirmations that you're able to cement some of them into your mind for those times when anxiety overwhelms you and you're able to naturally have some of them come into your mind on their own.

At least that's what has happened for me with affirmations.

It's about training our minds as best we can.

Remember to speak these affirmations with conviction and belief in their truthfulness.

Over time,

They can help shift your mindset and reduce feelings of anxiety.

I will say these affirmations twice.

Please feel free to say them along with me the second time and use your breath to help guide you as well when saying these affirmations.
