Hello,

This is Jennifer Ellis.

You're joining me for a meditation that's called Going Forward with New Beginnings and Adventures.

This is a visualization meditation.

When you're ready to begin,

Find a comfortable seat.

Any place that you are going to feel happy meditating in today is perfect.

It could be inside,

Outside,

Lying down,

Seated,

You choose.

Now,

Let's play with our power of visualization.

Begin to relax into your body and stay present.

You might do that by just listening to my voice and focusing on this visualization that I'm going to guide you through.

I want you to see a sun.

A sun symbolizes new beginnings.

Life begins each day anew with a sunrise.

Picture yourself watching a sunrise.

Picture yourself in your favorite place watching the sunrise.

And what colors do you see in this sunrise?

You can get as creative as you want here.

Really experience it fully.

Experience the sunrise,

This new beginning of the day.

Every new day is a new beginning.

Every new day brings new experiences,

New ideas.

And as you visualize the sunrise,

Ask yourself,

Am I seizing each day?

Feel the sunrise radiating through you.

The sunrise is providing you with luminous energy,

Maybe even a glow within.

Take this moment in silent reflection to really see and feel the sunrise that you're experiencing in your mind.

Notice your emotions.

Notice your mind.

Notice your body.

And as you're in this visualization,

Noting any messages or creative ideas that come to you.

Maybe the sunrise is bringing some creative spark,

Inspiration.

So now let us move along this path even further.

And as that sun rises,

Start to walk toward a waterfall that you know is nearby.

Or maybe it's just a lake or a stream.

It doesn't even have to be a waterfall.

I want it to be something that you could really visualize and feel joy around.

Water represents movement.

And since this meditation is about going forward with new beginnings and adventures,

That takes movement.

Water isn't stagnant.

And sometimes in our lives,

Things can get stagnant.

And watching water flow can help us to feel into movement that we can bring into our own lives.

So the next moment of silence,

Just feel into the flow of the water you're visualizing.

Really see it in your mind.

How is it moving?

What does it sound like?

What does it feel like?

Maybe put a toe in the water.

Play,

Envision.

And as you do so,

Notice any parallels to your life or messages you're receiving.

Take some silence now to just be with this.

Enjoy it.

Experience it.

And as you sit with this experience,

My question,

Are you willing to see the world around you in new ways?

Sometimes that can help us out of stagnation.

It could help us to move forward with new beginnings and adventures by just seeing what's there that we may have not noticed before.

How often do you perhaps see yourself often do you perhaps miss the flowers in the park or not notice the little freckle on your dog?

Just little things like this that we might miss by spending too much time in our cluttered mind.

And now as we move more into our visualization,

I invite you to see yourself walking from the water to grassy hills.

Grass notes things that are abundant.

It symbolizes growth,

Productivity,

Moving forward,

Prosperity,

Ideas,

Fulfillment.

I even read recently that grass produces oxygen,

Which is vital for all beings.

So as you walk in your mind through these grassy hills from that water,

It's still sunrise.

And you're in nature,

Noticing any metaphors and just being with what is.

Really see this journey through the grassy hills,

Noticing the significance.

Continue to move forward.

Breathe.

And as you journey,

Is there anything holding you back from moving forward?

Or are you enjoying traveling through this visualization?

For the next moment of silence,

I invite you to see these grassy hills,

To feel the abundance,

To feel all that is you,

And to move at your own pace.

New beginnings and adventures and moving forward can always be at your own pace.

It might just be a step or two.

You might take a sprint or a jog.

Whatever works for you is perfect.

And as we start to wind down our journey,

See yourself bringing this journey to its end.

Or maybe it's just the beginning.

This is your choose-your-own-adventure.

See the ending,

But keep that door to this visualization open.

It's always there for you.

You might even notice how you're closing out this journey,

And what it may mean to you in real time.

And before we move on from this meditation,

Let's do three cleansing breaths together.

A cleansing breath is an inhale through the nose and an exhale through the mouth.

And I invite you to fill yourself up with lots of oxygen,

Nourishing every cell of your body.

And then exhale anything that might be holding you back from going forward in your life,

Anything that might be weighing you down.

Let it go through that exhale.

Let's go.

Inhale.

Exhale through the mouth with a sigh.

Let it go.

Inhale.

And exhale.

And one more cleansing breath.

Inhale.

And exhale.

And now just notice how you feel.

And when you're ready to conclude this meditation,

Slowly bringing yourself into your physical body,

Maybe bringing movement to your body,

Maybe feeling the temperature of your space,

Maybe slowly blinking your eyes open and seeing the light of your room,

Or the outside if you're meditating outside,

And then feeling grateful,

Always feeling grateful.

Thank you so much for joining me on this journey today.

I look forward to meditating with you again.
