Hello,
This is Jennifer Ellis,
And this is a meditation called Clear Out the Clutter.
So since we're officially into the season of spring,
And spring is known for spring cleaning,
I thought we would do a little version of spring cleaning,
But in our mind and for our energy.
When you're ready to begin with me,
Find a position you would like to meditate in today.
Could be lying down,
Could be seated,
Whatever feels best in your body.
And then when you're ready,
Settle in and close your eyes.
We're going to start our Clear Out the Clutter meditation with six cleansing breaths.
That will be an inhale through the nose and an audible exhale through the mouth.
I invite you to use your inhale to really nourish yourself with some wonderful oxygen.
And then on your exhale,
Let go of any mental,
Physical clutter that might be going on right now.
Could even be some sort of attachment that you have to a situation going on in your life.
Whatever it is,
It's up to you,
But I invite you,
If you want to let it go,
We'll let it go through that exhale.
Inhale through the nose.
Now,
Exhale audibly through the mouth with a sigh or any expression that resonates with you and let go of whatever you decided you want to let go of.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Feel it going,
Going,
Going through that exhale.
Inhale.
Exhale through the mouth,
Whatever you need to let go of,
Whatever it is.
Let's do three more.
Inhale.
Now,
Really put some oomph behind this one.
Let it go through that exhale.
Just see whatever it is,
Mental,
Physical,
Whatever it is,
Some situation,
Some problem,
Some people,
Just let it go.
Two more.
Inhale.
Exhale through the mouth.
And we'll do one more.
I invite you again,
Put a little bit of power behind this last one.
Inhale through the nose and exhale audibly through the mouth.
Okay,
Return your breath to its natural rhythm.
And just take a moment to see how you feel.
You might actually feel lighter right now.
That was some powerful cleansing breaths.
Let's do some reflection.
We're going to take a minute of silence after each of these questions that I pose.
And I invite you just to notice what comes to mind in response to each thing that I bring to the table here in this meditation.
And I invite your response to not include any judgment.
Why do we need to judge ourselves?
Just be honest with yourself without judgment.
All right,
Here we go.
Is there anything currently weighing you down?
And like I said earlier,
There's so many things that weigh us down.
The mental,
The physical,
The situations,
The people,
The work,
The family,
The obligations,
The tasks,
The physical stuff around us,
Our car with trash in it,
Whatever it may be.
You might bring one thing to mind.
You might bring a bunch to mind.
I'm going to give you a little silence so you can just delve right on in.
Is there anything currently weighing you down?
Now I ask you,
Do you have trouble hearing your own thoughts because you have so much chatter going on in your head?
Be honest with yourself without judgment.
Is your schedule so cluttered that you have no time for yourself You have no time for the activities that feed your soul.
And what does your physical space look like?
Or spaces,
Shall I say.
Your car,
Your closet,
Your house,
Your office.
Do they feel cluttered?
Are there things you're holding onto because you may feel guilty for getting rid of them or afraid that you might need them in the future?
So often we can't leap forward in our lives when we're bogged down with all these different types of clutter.
They block our energy.
They take up our space.
And out of the things we just reflected upon,
Are there any things that you may be ready and willing to declutter during this spring season?
If so,
How might that look to you?
How might that feel for you?
I invite you to be open to the infinite possibilities that are available to you.
When you take care of some of these spring cleaning things.
Clutter can cut off our dreams.
And decluttering can open our eyes.
It can open up the energy of possibility again.
Decluttering can inspire your heart to open,
Your mind to clear.
It can free up your physical space.
All for the new that wants to come to you.
Imagine bigger things for yourself.
Create that space for yourself.
Now is the time.
Spring is the time.
Now we're going to go back to those six cleansing breaths to close our meditation.
And I invite you now on those exhales,
To let go of some of the things that came to mind that you're ready and willing to declutter.
And at the very least right now,
Let them go energetically through that exhale.
Are you ready?
Inhale.
Exhale.
Exhale through the mouth.
Let it go.
Inhale.
Nice,
Big,
Audible exhale.
Decluttering energetically.
Continuing deep inhale.
Fill up with oxygen.
And exhale.
Just let it all go.
Everything that came into your mind during this meditation that you're ready and willing to let go of.
It's going through that exhale.
Let's do three more.
Inhale.
And exhale.
Twice more.
A deep,
Long inhale through the nose.
And a long,
Audible exhale through the mouth as loud as you want.
And one more time.
Inhale.
And with your most genuine,
Authentic expression of letting go,
Let it go audibly through the mouth.
Now just breathe naturally.
Notice how you feel.
Notice any physical or mental shifts.
And when you're ready to come back from your meditation,
Bring your awareness back to your physical space in our reality of time.
Move the body a bit.
And start to return very gently and slowly opening your eyes when you feel ready.
Thank you so much for joining me for this Clear Out the Clutter Meditation.
